RNG, good pic showing the distance and elevation. How many pound of pressure will you loose because of friction loss in the pipe?
All that BH digging looks like fun.

66F and partly cloudy @ 09:30, headed up to around 73F for the high. Kind of breezy this morning. Calling for winds out of the NNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Birds at the birdbath, UPS sent a link to track package from Chapin - whatever it is - on a live map and Menards says order is ready for pick up.

And I hear The Woman grinding the beans ... (y)

Not sure what all we'll get up to today, but it seems like today would be a good day for any strenuous activities, given the breeze and cooler temps.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Tuesday ... ;)

good morning all
lot of catch up reading!
a little rain last night, not much and no big storm as expected. Today is sunny and nice, up to high 70's in sun.
Should be a great day to be outside.

Enjoy ... ;)

RS, fun to have cattle nearby, do you have a private well for water?

Yup - sure do.

Moreover, we also have septic (no public sanitary sewer) ... as do all our neighbors ...

If so, get your water checked for e coli.

Fortunately, the location of our well is not in the downstream flow path from the pasture.

61°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 90° today. Humidity here has been relatively low the last few days (around 40%), so even though we got up to 100° yesterday, it really wasn't as oppressive as it normally is.

Mentioned to The Wife yesterday evening that I ate a delicious blueberry from our sole remaining bush while I was mowing Sunday. So, we went out and picked the first small bunch. I think I may have eaten as many as I put in the bowl.

I feel the same way about insurance, David. It always feels more like a money-centric racket than actual health care. If you offer to pay cash, they will charge you less. But with insurance, they seem to be trying to get as much as they possibly can.

74 with passing clouds, 81 for the high. Thunderstorm rolled through about 3:15 wnd dropped .6” of rain, much needed.

Got the new spreader assembled yesterday, just have to air the tires. I was impressed, no missing parts and an extra.connecting rod. I need to mow grass today after the insurance adjuster comes.
Might attempt to spread bug crystals later, too.
Drew and everyone with ailments, I hope you feel better.
Have a good day.

Thanks for the prayers for my Daughter Mostly. She had a rough day Sunday. Her complexion is really depressing her on some days. She is taking multiple meds, and scrubbing, but not much improvement after months with this new dermatologist. .

My sons have seen dermatologist for this for several years. What they have used has helped a lot, but they have been on different stuff over the years. Seems one works for awhile, then doesn’t work, then they switch to something else. Personally I would rather they not use anything. It will clear up on it’s own eventually.

Good morning
61 and going to 75 today with clear skies.
Got a little over a quarter inch of rain overnight. Tempest says twice that much. Haven’t looked at the tie breaker yet, but my money is on the Davis.

Dood day in the shop yesterday, and got all my paperwork done for today’s trip.

Today I’m off to Marsh Harbour again, last trip of the season for this client. However it will pretty much kill the day.

Nice job on those new speakers. Having built my own cabinets before, you build yours much quicker than I did mine.

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 5AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 91F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.
Beautiful day yesterday, with big puffy clouds in the afternoon and a stiff breeze to help cool things off. The sun was low enough in the morning that it was shining on me while I was sitting on the tractor. Felt good when there was a breeze, not so much when the air was still. That afternoon breeze sure raised hob with trying to use a string to mark a straight path for the rest of the trench. Didn't come out perfect, but like the underside of RS's Cub deck, no one will notice once it's covered in dirt again.

That's some super good news, Drew. Let's hope it stays that way!

Teenage acne is the worst, Kyle. DAMHIKT. Tried everything from witch hazel to dermatologist, and nothing seemed to make a difference except getting older. Still get a zit once in a while, just for old time's sake?

I'd try to use a drill bit for the hole, Billy, and maybe cross drill and tap for a set screw to hold the fan on the shaft. Good luck on the procedure, and I hope Coco gets better.

Pretty lilly, Rich. Pain in lower back on one side could be a kidney stone. Sure hope not.

Finished the lateral part of the trench yesterday, then used up most of a can of TS Kubota orange spray paint marking the run down the hill. All that bending over was all the excuse I needed to finish the day with a few cold ones on the back porch. The buzzards were having a ball in the stiff breeze, wheeling in the sky then swooping down to dodge through the trees. Hope none of them pull a Sonny Bono; I'd hate to have to get close enough to one to bury it.

Probably will spend all day digging. Hope it's not too rocky; this is the pile that came out of just a short section near the water tank. More rocks than dirt...

Wondered about the route of the pipe, but then seeing the angle from the tank, looks pretty steep to the left side. Doesn’t look as steep in the wide angle. It’s hard to capture steepness of a hill in a picture.

Ron, that bird pic yesterday was awesome. Looks like it had an attitude.

I had a large bill from my last procedure, got a notice yesterday they automatically sucked money from my HSA card, problem is I already had paid the balance due. Now I gotta get refunded. I like this Dr, but hate the billing practices of the large company he works for, to the point I’ll probably switch Dr.
