65 going to 85 and the rain is promised. We have the same no-rain pattern as Randy.

Nice looking yard, BEF, and historical millrace is cool. I read you "don't listen" post to my wife and we knowingly laughed.

Mostly, I give the roaster a cleaning after every roast session, but a deep cleaning after every 50 roasts. Coffee roasting creates a great deal of dust and debris.

Cleaned under my mower deck and swapped my sharpened blades onto it to get ready for mowing post-rain. At least the weeds are still green.

Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 40° with rain this morning. Heading to 48° with continued rain. .21" overnight. Got the shopping and grass mowed yesterday. Going to be a conserve energy day. Sure is a change from the weather we have been getting. Furnace is on this morning after a 2 week rest.
Female duck has been missing at my garden pond for a couple of weeks. But no little ones have showed up yet.

Mostly, it's more like my training. By walking slow out toward barn I can get closer for a better picture.

David, puppies always make a good picture.

Good morning, the low is 32 and the high will be 57°F. wind E 7 mph. A mix of sun and cloud.

I sure am glad I covered the radishes and one tulip. Only one has come up out of the three I planted. Time will tell.

Back when I had chickens, 6 mallards flew in and seemed to like the free feed and didn't seem to mind that their eggs kept disappearing (duck eggs are good eating). They hung around for three years.

I get to deliver the DIL to hospice today around noon, so that is my day done.

Same here, I used two big bags, but I suspect the garbage men are not going to be happy with me because they're really heavy.

But I'm sure glad I mowed yesterday because we had more rain last night (actually after midnight) and I just dumped about .53" of rain out of the gauge. Now from what I've been told, lumber prices have just gotten too high for me to start building an ark. But we've actually only had 10 rainy days so far this month for 7.25" and more rain forecast for later today and tomorrow.

UPS delivered new part for Chapin spreader, part seems bent like it should be ... but wasn't packed worth a crap ... UPS driver said he would note the damaged packaging on his scanner.

42 right now...high in the mid-50's today...
Got home a bit later (1730) yesterday, so no chance to work on the flail mower. But, today I'm on vacation so, after an oil change in the truck at 1030, I'll have all day to see what I can do...wish me luck! If it's just the belts, shouldn't be too bad. If a bearing...well, I'll just have to see what I can do
