64 right now...high in the mid-80's...possible thunderstorms this afternoon...
Got home yesterday...wifey and stepdaughter had done the weekly shopping (groceries). We ate a pretty hardy supper. Went out to see if I could break those nuts loose on the flail mower...still frozen. So, applied more PB Blaster and will try again this afternoon. These are pretty small nuts (12mm across the flats) and the studs are welded to the mower end plate. If PB Blaster doesn't do the job...not sure how I'm going to remove the nuts without damaging the stud threads...
66°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 86° today. Some rain passed through before I got up at 5am, but it doesn't look like we got much.
The foster dog, Cecilia (Wife calls her Cici), made it through her surgeries OK yesterday. They removed a cyst from the inside of her mouth, removed a fatty growth on her neck, and spayed her. She was groaning a lot last night, so the pain meds may not be working to optimum effect. The Wife said they found something on one of her ovaries, and sent it off to have it analyzed. Hoping it's not cancerous. Wife took her downstairs and set up a big area of dog beds and blankets for her, and slept on the couch by her last night.
Congrats on your son's awards, Kyle.
I saw that GM remark, too, BEF. I chuckled lightly, rolled my eyes, and scrolled on.
Yeah...got a propane torch...not sure I have any propane though.Heat.
Yep...didn't even budge 'em...Do you have a battery powered impact driver Roy? Perhaps the impact .. will break the nuts loose?
I have a Ridgid 18 V impact driver that works well on small nuts / bolts. Yours are likely 8 mm nuts.
