OUCH...

Ditto.

Welcome mwemaxx.

News of the day for our family....We went to our son's school award ceremony this morning. I took off work. There were at least 50-75 kids being awarded different awards for best reader, most improved reader, etc... I was starting to wonder which little award my son might have won??? I told my wife he probably won the award for the kid who eats the most crackers at lunch.....Well, he got called up with about 20 kids for getting all A's. So I was somewhat relieved. Then at the end, they gave the highest award, for being exemplary in ALL the other awards given....And they called a girl's name, and then my son's name. They get their names on a plaque that gets permanently put in the school, and they got a stuffed mascot and a trophy. He was so happy. We took him to his favorite pizza place, he got an orange soda and a huge ice cream cone in an old fashioned waffle cone. I told him he made me so proud.

Still looking for car. Still frustrated at the gecko lizard insurance company. Thanks for looking Don. Some of those modular V8's ford made back then weren't very good engines....not sure which year models.

RNG, sorry about your oil loss. $200 is a lot to keep the dust down in a relatively small area. Hope it's a simple hose issue. What is a chevy clown car? I already had the Clark Griswold mobile.....

Rick, you've been in the path of mucha lluvia. We've had plenty, but some places have rec'd half again more than us.

After spraying my Cimarron Plus/MSMA concoction last week, most of the weeds are dying. I see a few dallis grass that still need spot spraying. The bermuda is taking off and we can't mow because of all the rain. Ground is so soft.

Ron, hadn't considered a Captiva. I really haven't seen many of them in my life. Might have to open eyes wider.

Refueled my old '03 impala, after a lot of idling, it still pulled off 25.5 mpg! I'm surprised. Maybe I'll change the oil and be nice to it. :)

Prayers for those on our team in need and our country.

So many good people here.

Ten straight days of rain Kyle. Now .. over 18" in May .. after 2 1/2 months .. of nothing.

64 right now...high in the mid-80's...possible thunderstorms this afternoon...

Got home yesterday...wifey and stepdaughter had done the weekly shopping (groceries). We ate a pretty hardy supper. Went out to see if I could break those nuts loose on the flail mower...still frozen. So, applied more PB Blaster and will try again this afternoon. These are pretty small nuts (12mm across the flats) and the studs are welded to the mower end plate. If PB Blaster doesn't do the job...not sure how I'm going to remove the nuts without damaging the stud threads...

Drinking first cup of coffee. 68° with light rain this morning. Heading to 78° with continued rain all day. Got way to hot yesterday by 10am it was over 80°. Did a conserve energy day. Gong to spend time with my Aunt today. She fell last week and cracked a couple of ribs. Tuff lady. But says she need someone with her during the day. Daughter spends the night with her.
Clouds look like they are trying to tell/show me something.

Kyle, good son rewards. Chevy Captiva is same as a 2008 to 2010 Saturn Vue. After they closed down Saturn. GM decided to make the Captiva available for fleet leasing. Previously the Equinox was the fleet vehicle. This kept the resale value of the Equinox higher. Drivetrain parts are the same as Equinox and Malibu models. Captiva was available from 2012 to 2015.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

good morning all.
Hot day today, high of 90, with rain and storms coming in tonight.
Some rain would be nice to wash the pollen off.

off early to shoulder surgeon, well his assistant, once the top guy does the surgery, then his time is too valuable
and the helpers help. Ok...but I am going to be very clear with my dissatisfaction over healing time. Perhaps this is why they
prescribe oxycontin, which I never took, imagine if I took that for 30 days this would have been more tolerable, but that just seems too
risky for me.

looking forward to picking first batch of bibb lettuce later today, should make a nice salad for dinner.
