Today is exactly 3 weeks since I applied for Medicare. They tell me they are “on part 2 of a 3 part process to approve the application”. So I am still waiting for my number.

While many Advantage plans offer a lot of extras. They also have many Co Pays. I original supplemental. Plan C. Also called Legacy. Plan F was the top plan until 2020. It has been replaced by Plan G.
I am not trying to talk you out of an Advantage plan. Just want you to be aware of what the difference is.
Biggest difference is Advantage plans are completely run by the insurance company. Including paying the bills. Supplemental is paid by Medicare. The 20% not covered by Medicare is paid by Supplemental plan that you have.

I ended up mowing close to the house, but out back and by the creek got a pass.

Well do I remember riding through Wales on a Norton motorcycle many years ago, looking at the map and street signs and not being able to pronounce any of the names. As I recall that resulted in a lot of wrong turns and doubling back, and orbiting the roundabouts looking for something familiar. If you can get around in Wales, you can find your way anywhere!

I had laugh at that, my dad was there in Wales in WW II, he said one sign had 14 consonants a hyphen and a vowel with 12 more consonants.

75 heading to 92 today. Grandson’s ballgame is at 1, no shade of course. Glad I mowed yesterday. Gotta grocery pickup in a few minutes, trip to FIL’s then the ballgame. I’m expecting do zero work today, hope I’m not disappointed.

I sent that bug picture to my brother in VA who thinks they are a couple of degrees cooler at their elevation and it will be next few days when cicadas
pop out.
The bad news is apparently copperhead snakes love them and will come out to eat them, climb trees and other places to get them. Be careful.
