good morning all
going to be a warm Saturday, highs in low 90's

disappointing talk with Honda salesman, they simply know nothing and no ETA on new truck.
I may start looking for a used one instead.

going to be a quiet day at home after a lot of running around yesterday.
Pie turned out pretty good but MIL says her son's family is all on a diet so I brought the rest of the pie home and will give
to a neighbor here. If I keep it in the fridge I'll eat the whole thing and my waist line doesn't need that...

Good morning, low temp 63 and high 77F. Wind SW 7 mph. 60% chance of showers or drizzle.

The rain will be good for the garden.

Today is the last day of the higher temps. We will be going back to more 'seasonable' temps in the high 60s and low 70s.

I ordered two new ceiling fans yesterday, they are both the same and will move 2900 cubic feet of air/minute. The ones I really wanted were $149.oo each and moved 4300 cu ft./min, but I settled for the $59.oo ones. IF they get here on time, then they will both get set up before I go back to work.

I think I will conserve energy today.

Have a safe day all

It’s so dry my grass is turning brown. It’s very ragged and needs mowing in places. Not sure what I’m going to do.
Mine, too. I decided that I'd leave mowing until after the next rain, maybe a T storm Monday, and instead take the string trimmer out around the house/path/porches.

58° right now...high in the low 80's today
Chores: Dump run then pick up a prescription (BP meds) and a case of PBR. Also need to get 5 gallons of gas for the mower while I'm out and about
This afternoon is going to be weather dependent. Definitely going to rig the flail mower to the 3PH. After that, it's mow the field or mow the lawn. Reckon I'll be reporting which I did in tomorrow's GM post.

54 and clear, heading to 90. Very dry.

David, I see why you were tempted to buy that tractor...and a nice trailer of implements.

Have fun with that grandson, dftodd!

Took Coco to vet...x-rays don't look good. Picked up new type of pain medicine that is supposed to work better for her. Since HF is across highway, dropped in to see if I could learn whether they had a record of me returning the recalled jack stands, since I couldn't find the receipt from returning them a year ago, and haven't been back since. I knew it was not likely, but at least learned that I should have been given a gift card for the $40+ value...I'll have to search for that, now.

Good morning. It's 72° and raining with expected high of 79° this afternoon. We've had a bit over 1" overnight and nearly 16" since May 1st.

Our pastures were starting to dry out but .. this current rain will keep tractors parked for a while longer.

I am getting a few overdue projects done though. The WR Long 3rd function toggle switch, on the New Holland FEL joystick has been acting up for a few weeks. It will open the grapple or tree / post puller .. but intermittently won't close. I suspected (hoped) it was the toggle so ordered one online. Once I figured out how to split the joystick handle, the switch replacement took just a couple of minutes. Grapple works fine now. I did a bench check, of the removed toggle switch, with my ohm meter and as expected it worked in one direction, but not the other.

I'd been storing two John Deere zero turns, the grand prizes for our VFD Spring Fund Raiser, in my shop since March. Our original date of the FR was May 1st but was postponed to May 15th due to 8" of rain May 1st weekend. I'd been looking forward to getting space back in my shop but .. neither winner was at the FR, so both went back in my shop until winner could take delivery. Finally both were picked up Thursday and yesterday.

I gave the Corvette a good wash job yesterday, since it had been displaced, in the back of the shop, by the two ZT's. It was under roof .. but still got filthy.

Today will be more pressure washing and spring cleanup.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Prayers to all.
