Good morning, 66 now and forecast high of 82F. Wind S 5 mph. 40% chance of showers.

The Dodge didn't get waxed yesterday, so I might do that today. Then again I might not. I am winding down on my last few days of freedom before going back to work.

Have a safe day all

Coffee is done brewing. 58° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87° with increasing clouds in afternoon. Got grocery shopping done. Came home and mowed grass. It was warm by the time I was done. Stayed in cool house rest of the day. Need to put out carpenter bee traps today. They keep dive bombing me when i am near barns. Do a little trimming. Then stay in out of the heat in cool house. After 3 days of 80° temperatures. Temperatures in house have creeped up to 74° from its normal 72°.
Single bud from Red Bud tree.

Good Morning
50 heading o upper 80’s today. Another day with clear skies and no rain. It’s starting to get pretty dry out there, water level pond is down a bit as well. The only good thing is that grass has slowed down, I’ve got more time between mowings.

Yesterday’s meeting went pretty well, I think that we have a plan to move forward. I got to make a few parts for a friend repairing some hangar doors. I couldn’t find my 3/4 drill bit so I had to drill 11/16 holes and open them up with a boring bar, but other than that it went pretty well. Helped youngest son cast some bullets and then got some speaker work done.

Today I might mow a little this morning before it gets got, but only around the house , the large areas aren’t growing as fast. Then I’ll head into the shop to try to make some speaker progress. Couple more orders in works, the “check’s in the mail”.

It’s important to keep in mind how insurance works. It simply covers the policy holder according to their contract with that policy holder. If someone causes a loss to you, their insurance is an interested third party, but has no obligation to you, just to their policy holder, who in turn is obligated to make you whole, regardless of their policy limits or language.
If you turn to your own coverage, then you are bound by the limits and terms of your own policy. And as a last suggestion, if you have multiple auto policies, make sure that your un and underinsured coverages are “stacked”, the small savings by not stacking are not balanced by the coverage gained by stacking. (Disclaimer- I’m neither an attorney or insurance broker, so this advice is worth what you paid for it).

Good morning! 68˚F cloudy, heading to the mid 80s. brush clearing was canceled this week because of intermittent rains of less than 2".

Mostly, the first haircut place, had 3 delicate people cutting hair and cut mens and women's hair, the second place had 7 men cutting hair at an all mens, manly barber place. They look like they drive Harleys with their bellies, beards and tattoos and no offer of a shampoo or styling. Both places same price - $15 for basic haircut.

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 4:45AM. Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High near 75F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.
Crazy weather yesterday. Sunny and brisk in the morning, then as I was digging stumps, dark clouds moved in from the north, the wind picked up, the temps dropped, and raindrops started coming down. By dinner time, the sun was back out and the temps had recovered. No rain in the gauge, just the threat.

You're getting some good advice here, Kyle, and I hope you can work out a settlement without going to court. The PI attorney for the big motorcycle wreck wrote several letters, and once the other insurance company saw we were playing hard ball, we came to terms. It took time, though, so try to be patient. Don't go for the BS of private sale vs. dealer sale, either. You're gonna pay what the current market dictates, and prices are up due to CoVid. Bring A Trailer might be a good reference, too, KBB tends to be long out of date, cars.com is good, ebay motors might be your best shot. See if you can focus on auctions in your immediate area, as prices will vary regionally. And all the work and money you've poured into your commuter should put it at the top of the price range. Make them pay for your rental car. The longer they drag their feet, the more rent they'll have to pay, and that'll work to your advantage.

Figured I needed to get some time on the backhoe before I tackled that steep hillside, so I dug out a couple of stumps yesterday. Two were easy, but a triple trunked oak is still laughing at my attempts. Busted a lot of roots, but I think there's a tap root buried deep. Maybe I'll take a grinder and sharpen the edges of the trenching bucket to help get through the roots...

I took yesterday's "bad" weather as an excuse to finally do something about Medicare. I learned that my last employer is still subsidizing my medical insurance. They're "sponsoring" an Advantage plan with United Healthcare that looks like it has all the bells and whistles, with an unbelievable monthly premium of $11.15. Seems too good to be true, but that's what the agent I spoke with said. I can still go with Original Medicare, but that looks like a real mine field with premiums and coverages all over the map. I need time to dig into the fine print, but there's an end-of-month deadline coming up quick...

Gosh, Friday already. TGIF! 🥳

Morning all, sunny and a drop cooler today.
Spent a few hours clearing around the trees I need to fell this weekend. More Ash of course.
Son gets his first of pfizer tomorrow. Pool is open and now more to my daily list of things to do. Though once set with the Salt Water , robot does most of the cleaning.

Garden is coming along ok, Tomatoes are still standing and Radishes are getting bigger.

Stating to see the Stilt Grass shooting up. That needs to be handled as it chokes out everything, even small bushes.

Fox and deer yesterday seems to have been a misunderstanding. Seems fox was so intent on the mouse that he caught, when the deer came crashing out of the bushes, fox dropped mouse in neighbors driveway and was screaming as he ran away.

Stay safe and be well.

I have a United Health Medicare Advantage plan and really like it (monthly premium is $0), covering dental checkups, eye exams, and prescriptions, too. But, don't forget, that even with an Advantage plan, you still have to pay the government a quarterly premium for Medicare.
