53 and clear, going to 88.

Great puppy and dog pix. I wonder if some of us have more dog pix than wife pix.

Have a safe trip, BEF, and don't strain your back.

Wind was too gusty to spray yesterday, since some areas need to be precision to avoid desirable plants. So roasted coffee instead. I gave a lot away so need to restock.

Buppies, hope your bear has learned his lesson.

I’m sure I do. The dogs never tell me not to take or ask me to delete.

Good afternoon! 78˚F partly cloudy, lawn mowing day after I sharpen the blade.
Went to get a haircut this morning. First place had mask required and asked me if I made a reservation on-line - no -1.5 hour wait so I left and the next place down the road and it had no mask requirement and no line.

Stopped by a few stores also.
1st store - mask required
2nd store - sign said "Continue to wear a mask unless you are fully vaccinated".
3rd store - no mask required.

David the next Hand and Foot is Monday which is also the first day mask in the neighborhood are optional, yea!

Good afternoon! 84 and sunny. Nice day in this part of Ohio!

And yes rs, the ground is dry. The Mother’s Day deluge did not do much to saturate the ground.

Hopefully I get more of my garden in Saturday. Got plants Sunday, just didn’t plant them yet. Going to try some herbs this season, have some Greek Oregano, broadleaf basil, and chives. See how that goes in addition to the normal stuff.

Came into work today to no power. Accident on the bypass took down some power lines. We stood around for 2 hours outside, most systems were not working very well when the power did come back on. Been a hectic week so far, needed to compose some emails about assorted supplier issues, not sure the wait was particularly good for the wording I used.....

Got my haircut today. Needed it. Same woman has been cutting my hair for 23 years now. She was fresh out of school when I started as her customer. We have become friends over the years, I know her family, she knows my family, etc. I am certain the other customers and stylists think we are odd the way we talk to each other.

Thoughts for everyone who needs them

Stay safe out there

Rich, sounds like a very nice barber to have. My lady barber charges too much and talks my ear off.
I must be paying by the word...have never paid more than 15 bucks for a haircut in my life and now it's almost double that.

two nice visits with friends, one couple in Pipersville North of here and an old friend South of here in Upper Makefield off Stoneybrook Road.
She lives right across from the old Thorpes Farm where for generations we all went to buy our sweet corn, picked early in the morning. Farm long gone
but her old house same place as always. She remembers her Mother calling over to my Father in downtown New Hope in March of 1950:
Boy or Girl?
A boy smiled my Father. And I had arrived. So needless to say, my friend goes all the way back. She made a wonderful home made asparagus and leek soup, home made soda bread
and some lemon dessert. She fussed, which was nice, but said it was just so good to have an excuse to cook again. Her sister lives in NC and faithfully sends me a Christmas card every year.
Just plain nice people, raised in a gentle manner.

My friend in Pipersville is a retiring wealth manager whose smallest client is 250M, which for most of us is just Monopoly money,
and he was so helpful when I got my securities licenses many years back with tons of helpful advice. His wife and I
were on the school board locally for six years together and became great friends. I always feel so fat when I go there.
They are both rail thin, she naturally and he through lots of exercise.
I'm honestly 30 pounds overweight, though I have no desire to lose more than 15.
But I really have to get that 15 off so hopefully with more outside exercise I'll sweat those pounds off. Hopefully.
Too much weight is simply a controllable risk factor that many of us don't do well with.

DIL was on the phone at 8:30 this morning insisting that we go get her, and at 8:45 was wondering why we weren't there yet. Picked her up at 9:30. Hospital is a good 45 minute drive away and I had to get gas. She is getting a little too demanding for her own good.
