Yea Randy, you are back home!!!!(y)

(Thats good, because even though I thought the Mars helicopter could pick up 400 lbs on earth it must be reduced by Mars 3/8th gravity so really on earth the helicopter can only pick up 151 pounds.)
Edit, opps forgot to subtract the weight of the helicopter, 4 pounds, so that's 147 earth pounds)

40 right now...high in the mid-50's today...

Had to go to the store after work for a few odds and ends. If it's decent weather when I get home today, think I'll do some more aerating the lawn...

Happy you're home, Randy....

good morning all
Ran out of decaf, made a pot of straight Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, my is that good.
it was on sale with some Kona coffee, both of which are usually too expensive for me to buy but this was a
nice treat.

going to be a warm day today, in low 70's and then colder weather returns, might have to throw a sheet over the garden for one night.

got my oil changes done, unit worked great, though my hand pumping seemed to work just as fast as the compressor air alternative.

am off to endocrinologist early this morning, checking on hormone levels that haven't been right since I had chemo. That stuff definitely
messes up your body, but the price of progress I guess.

all my flowers are planted, place looks much better, can't wait until mulch comes and it all looks finished. Tulips are starting to bloom, need to spray
them again with deer repellant. Those two deer eaten evergreens in the front garden are coming out this week, being replaced with boxwood.

Toppop, marvelous news that you are home. Take it slow, be happy.

I only buy Hebrew National hotdogs. But we don’t eat them often. No mustard for me. Ketchup and relish.
With all this talk of hotdogs I guess I need to try the Hebrew Nationals. So far, the Ball Park are the best I've found. Many years ago, when I still played golf (but very poorly), it seemed that every golf course club house had good hotdogs, so we'd get one after 9 holes before starting the back nine; just mustard and pickle relish.

Since we lived for a relatively short time in Baltimore, MD when I was a baby my parents said anytime you ordered a hotdog there, they asked, "With or without kraut?" They said sauerkraut on a hotdog was normal back east in the early '40s, but unheard of in southern Oklahoma. Anyway, I developed a taste for it, and when we have hotdogs at home now I still like to stuff mine with sauerkraut. Of course I buy the smallest can of sauerkraut on the shelves at the grocery store since my wife won't touch the stuff and doesn't even like to smell it.:D:D:D

It is great to hear that you made it home and into your own recliner. I can definitely understand how you feel, as I was there not too long ago. I still remember how good it felt to be home and pet my dog for the first time in months.

My doggie heard us coming in the door and met me in the utility room and nearly knocked me down. When it came time for her late outdoor visit, she came to me and wouldn’t go with Ellen.

I like a good old Reuben with kraut.
