Happy Easter Blessed we are to be here

64°F and .95 inches rain.

No plans for the day. Energy conservation?

After making a special trip to town earlier in week to pick up a ham for Easter dinner, not going to happen. A 12 lb ham a bit over kill for just the 2 of us, so into the freezer for another time. Still have planned dinner as the freezer revealed a chuck from the last one I made. Less work, like benefit.

My daughter is playing guitar in church today.

Having a spiral sliced ham, but leaving the brown sugar glaze off. Baked potatoes and roasted asparagus. Maybe a homemade cake topped with fresh raspberries later.

We cooked spiral ham last night, had it again today. I wish I could convince wife to not put on the glaze.

And guess I missed some political drama, thank goodness. Mike, thanks for the prune.

I messed up and forgot to hit the “go live “ button this morning till after the first song at worship. Then the song leader switched 2 songs on the fly so I couldnt project or stream them. But still a great service and beautiful day.

I thought I edited the post, and I quoted it instead.

34 yrs ago it was quite cold in VA for our wedding, with snow the day before.
I meet her 3 yrs before that. Our first date was June or July of 1984, I have the exact date on a picture. We went to skyline drive.

Time sure flies, or I’ve slowed down. I can’t keep up with everything.

51F clear sky with 10+ wind.

Finally got raking caught up to snow mud line 3 BIG sections left.
While raking couple Tom turkeys were fanning gobbling,must been movement sound of rake I turn around 1 Tom about 6' from me quick move of the rake towards him he jump at the rake than walk off fanning,guess I better pay more attention.

Mrs. doing grilling so dinner recliner movie and watch for shed outside light to come fingers cross shall be Boo.

Congratulations. Sometimes it seems that staying married very long to the same person is now obsolete. The 28th of this month will be 56 years for us.

And buckeyefarmer, I still remember our first date, too. She spilled a coke in my almost new car. But I decided she might be a keeper anyway.
