54 and raining hard. Going to 61.
LS, glad it's not a clot.
Any one heard from riptides? It's been a month...I know he was busy on the farm.
Got a few hours of bush hogging done, but it took me almost 2 hours to get started. I had to move a pallet of firewood, and hitch/unhitch a couple of implements to get to the cutter. Then decided to grease it, and the zerk broke off on the wheel...I only gave it a little tap to get the tiny ball bearing to open after a couple of unsuccessful squeezes that went everywhere but in the zerk.

So then had to remove the threaded piece out of the wheel. Glad I had bought several sizes of replacements a couple of years ago.
Had a Merlin follow me around landing on branches out ahead of me, hoping I'd run a rodent out of the field,
repeating the process for each lap I took. Then with just a 15 foot strip left, a woodcock jumped up about 3 feet in front of the tractor and played injured to tempt me away from its nest, which I hope I didn't run over. So, I backed up, and left that strip uncut and moved to another field. More to do, but the rain is giving me an excuse to take it easy today.
Also decided to run the zero turn through a few patches of grass that were getting high, a sure sign of spring.
