Rick.
Was the brush pile been setting period of time to dry?... lot quick heat.

It was built over about a year. The landowner has a Kubota that is probably about 40 HP and his FEL / grapple will only lift about 8' so the pile wasn't high .. but very broad.

Our local fire department only allows burning 4-9pm even with snow on the ground nothing bigger than 4" dia.

So many comments .. come to mind Thomas .. but I'll keep them to myself.

When I first bought my property, there was a huge pile of brush out back that had been piled there for years.

I did some cleaning up around the place. Trimmed some over grown trees and low laying branches.

Went out and tossed a match into that pile of brush. By this point it was about 30x60 and around 10ft tall or so.

That pile went fast!!!! Flames were about 100ft in the air and was burned down to a small pile of coals within a half an hour

That was also the day I met all my new neighbors

"That was also the day I met all my new neighbors"

Imagine that. On a windless day and no overhanging trees .. that's usually not a problem.

We survey adjoining properties to see if anything burning, thats lifted by the fire, can cause problems.

Rick, nice little fire. . Don’t think I’d build a pile that big.
Surprised you can easily push over oaks, even with digging.

I can a little sun peaking through.

...and Thomas, e-muffins are everywhere...my wife made homemade chicken salad yesterday, and put a scoop on top of a toasted e-muffing for me for lunch. Yum.

I called my broker and told him to exit all e-muffin stock, because there would be a huge drop in demand......

Ron, how's your son? Some really nice pics lately by all.

Hope all are doing well, been busy.

One of the older cnc mills at work seems like the oil pump is not oiling. Not sure why yet...but I'm busy, so not much time to mess with it.

Do people drink even more, on Straya day?

You guys stay warm up there. Going to be 36F here manana en la manana. Burr cold for a Texan, or a climatized Wisconsinite that I know.

Prayers for our country, and for the sick, and for our team.
