Good morning!!!!

my friend in Delaware was out running an errand yesterday and came upon this just as it happened.
Someone didn't go through their mental checklist very well when they took off, didn't hook something up.
This ruined someone's day.
I bet that caused havoc in Harbeson, Drew.

25 outside this AM. Heading to mid 50's. It is close enough to the weekend for me to call a mental health day.

Here is the wife with her new toy truck.
Trying to figure out where to park it. LOL.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe...and stay healthy my friends.View attachment 683149

Nice very nice  2021 starting of well may it continue.

Someone near me overturned a pickup and RV the other day, both upside down.
Seen a travel trailer on it's side with the trucks back tires a foot or so off the ground. Guy was traveling to fast and wasn't using any sway bars on his hitch.

In the St. Louis area, the interstate shoulders are the passing lane ... apparently.
Same with 40 west out of Little Rock. For some reason 80mph isn't fast enough for them.

We are still in Phase 1a and when we move to Phase 1b, our website will be updated with how/when Phase 1b can receive the vaccine. Please monitor our website for more information.
In the meantime, please provide the following information (attached). When we start vaccinating Phase 1b, per state and federal guidelines, we will contact you with information.

form filled out for ages 65 and over, so I guess I'm in queue.

I think you are ahead of me in the system. My e-mail said:

"You completed the COVID-19 vaccination registration questionnaire with Austin Public Health. It is important to note that this is not registering for a vaccine appointment.

As Austin Public Health receives the COVID-19 vaccine, we will follow-up at a future date to notify you when you are eligible to schedule an appointment.

Currently, there is no estimated timeline for when a vaccine will become available for you to receive. Please continue to monitor your email and text messages closely for when an appointment can be scheduled."

Lol, 80 mph is the slow lane here, left lane is doing 90+.

I've been upgrading some of my tools...
Picked up a DeWalt battery powered grease gun (boy!, maybe this thing is more then I need to grease the tractor, mower and implements...it's huge!), a portable lamp and today I received the drill. I'd had one of the older DeWalt battery drills...as part of my reduction in the number of battery chargers, I gave the older drill (left here by the previous owners of our house) to a co-worker...now I'm down to an EGO charger, a Ryobi charger and a DeWalt charger. All great tools!!
These DeWalt tools are great quality...I'm used to buying the cheap stuff...but finally bit the bullet and went for better quality tools

You can implement all you want if there’s no place to get it it doesn’t help.

My new coffee grinder was delivered today. (The green one on the right, the one on the left was Grandma's). All I need now is some suggestions on some flavorful coffee beans.

So there’s at least three of us here with that Eastwood brake. I didn’t make new rods, just drilled and tapped the opposite ends. I put the original
Like you, I also made an insert for the top of the upper die. I like your bottom die, but I’m not that ambitious.

I suspect that my press can exceed the capacity of the brake though.

Good job. Once you get a press, you still have to have mucho widgets, shafts, and all kinds of accoutrement, to be able to use it.

Similar for machine tooling....RNG, a man with a lathe can not have too many drills and boring bars.

I had a local machine shop make the four sided die for me, for $100 cash money, out the door.

Good evening all. 33F for the start, clear, windy. Very windy day, whitecaps on lake, few clouds and high temp of 59F. SUV alarm went off at 2:30 AM, not sure why, took a while to get back to sleep. Slow start this morning, cleaned ashes, worked on recycling large old flat TV, took 2 hours GRRRRR :mur:. because of wind did nap first then bike ride, was able to ride with one of the Saturday morning gang. Did not get much more accomplished. POA is trying to set up vaccines to be given here, they are hopeful at this point as most full time residents are 1-B. Biggest hurdle is for county to finish 1-a shots.
Covid update: Cooke, 2465 confirmed cases, 160 active cases, Montague, 1438 confirmed cases, 73 active cases, Grayson, 8458 confirmed cases, 756 active cases, local 25 active cases.
BX nice pics of your set up, welcome :welcome:
Bill enjoy your seat time on the driveway. Some people are not smart enough to know they have been bitten by there own lack of facts/thinking :(
Drew glad you get a reasonable day. Good to hear you liked the detail done to the car, II don't use ketchup in the car
Billy you patience with the splitter not starting amazes me
Ron what was it like not to have to cycle the heat manually? Good to hear reorganizing around furnace. Sorry to hear about aunt hope she recovers soon
Thomas should be a quick check as new as the Kubota is :)
Eric Bible good place to start for ark plans :) The jab takes 20-30 seconds, the wait for possible allergic reaction takes the 15 minutes.
Paul sorry about the slow start, key lime pie sounds good :licking: good luck with the mining.
Mike pretty truck, did you get priming done?
Randy we all just need to wait 5 minutes and read our responses.
Don it is frustrating, they had months to plan, get organized. Very disappointing.
Ken the states were expected to organize and fine tune the priority. Some states have done a better job.
RNG next week we have 3 days of 33% coverage, should rain 1 day right? :) Hope the cologuard works for you, I have polyps to remove every test so a non starter for me. Glad the range visit went good, my labs have a 12 hour fast so they set up lab, I get the lab work done and Dr schedule appt when they get results. OK weather not that bad other than colder than TX :)
Drew have fun at orchard
RS The driveway covered in snow and lawn not showing much snow happen in MO but only after a cold spell. hope prescription ready, enjoy your target rich opportunities.
PJ good luck with mole, I would try Buppies's method of sulfur on newspaper and light and stuff in tunnel and block off. Love the pallet reference :)
Ted sorry about you wind, we are getting some here, whitecaps on the lake while riding.
David hope pressure test goes well, not sure your supervisors will complain much if you don't clean up but big boss might :)
Dennis hard decision to make on your trip
Drew must be reading or nap time. Boat is not having a good day :(
Ken is that because the people in the left lane are not passing?
PJ not to mention long term parking as well :(
Roy glad you are able to upgrade some tools and reduce the variety of chargers
Don isn't coffee roasting Billy's forte, nice looking grinder
BX $100 looks like a great deal to me.
prayers for all, especially Jay/Peg, Kyle's daughter/sister Covid, David(moss)/remodel/divorce, RNG/fire, Ron/hearing/son/aunt, Jim/sister & family, Phil/wife's eyes, and Country.
stay safe and health you all.

The one on left was my maternal Grandmother's. The one on the right was her Mother's .. my Great Grandmother. Both still work.
