26 going to 56. Today is gonna be fun!

Ron, you were good to remember how hard my splitter has been to start...felt pretty good about just needing 29 pulls yesterday.

Prayers for Kyles sister, others.

daugen, that road tar will come off with either WD40 or diesel fuel. Just make sure you wash off the solvents immediately and apply a little wax and she will look as good as new.

Poured first cup of coffee. 33° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 42° with mostly cloudy skies. Had to modify shelf side wall to clear J trap on furnace. Got shelves back in place and all the junk that had collected on them sorted out. Grocery shopping this morning. Then back to a couple shop projects. Going to try and fit in a nap in today. No furnace or wood stove to monitor.
MY aunt was in hospital over the weekend. Back home. Recovering from a mini stroke. Was caught quickly and sent by ambulance to hospital. Looks like she will recover from it without any problems.

:welcome: to Good Morning!!! thread BravoXray. Very nice mods to your Eastwood brake.

Rich, I hope customer and others appreciate your ability to trouble shoot problems over the phone.

Rick, not sure about the not wearing a seatbelt over 15 mph. Be carful.

Kyle, Roy and others I agree with you. Keep this thread CLEAN.

Thomas, after visiting txdon for many years. I learned that if you do not like snakes do not visit him in the spring. Never saw a snake during my visits in November to February. We did similar trail clearing at his place several times. A late March visit found snakes.

Phil, the big step.

MikePA, thanks for keeping an eye on this thread.

Kyle, hope your sister gets thru Covid. Special prayers sent.

Wngsprd, since Saturday when I could not get my trimmer started. My arm reminds me how it feels to have to pull on a starter rope. Have you ever tried pulling spark plug and pour a little gas in hole. Then replace plug. Then try to start. My 8 HP engine on Trak-Vac needs that after setting for awhile. I use premixed 2 cycle gas to do this.

Drew, did they find more then 1 French fry under seat? :ashamed:

Everyone stay healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all. Another day here for wearing the most waterproof of clothing. Anyone recommend a good web site with ark plans?

"DIL remembers Izal well. Her Dad worked at the factory outside of Sheffield"
L4N, that would be the Newton Chambers factory in Chapletown. They did all sorts of things on that site, even made tanks during WW2 - which may explain why their TP was so tough

Newton, Chambers and Co - Graces Guide

RNG, sorry your rear has also encountered Izal. The trick to making it almost useable was to scrumple each sheet, then rub it vigorously between hands for a while. If it is any consolation, you probably experienced the improved formula softer version!

Kyle, good to hear your sister is improving. Hope they get your mum vaccinated real soon, just remember to keep everyone away from her for 3 weeks after her jab, even people who have already had Covid as they are still able to pass it on to others.

All in all it was a very pleasant experience with the nurses all seeming to enjoy what they were doing. They had space and staff to process easily a dozen vaccinations per hour .. all drive- thru.
Rick, your experience sounded almost too good. If those nurses only stab 12 people an hour, then unless the batteries are running out in my calculator, it is going to be a very long time until everyone is vaccinated. Was yours a trial setup ?

"Big day for me as I decided to file for Social security and turned in my paperwork.

Finally heard from the state when to expect my first pension check. Things are looking up!

Now, just need things to stop breaking around here."

Good Morning.
28, going to 48 with partly cloudy skies today.

Yesterday’s trip went well, although it got off to rocky start, as nether of the tugs used to move the aircraft wouldn’t start, so the airplane was still in the hangar and not fueled when I got to the airport. I convinced them to use a plow truck with a pointless hook to move it, so we did get underway, only about a half hour behind schedule.
It was 60 with a high overcast in Stuart, so it was quite comfortable to me, although the natives were complaining about the cold. They were great about getting us refueled and we were on our way north only about 10 minutes behind schedule, and we landed right on time. Had a nice lunch over the Atlantic on the way home. When I ordered the catering for flight home I added a Key Lime pie which I dropped off to my friend and his wife who have been shut ins since her fall on the ice before Christmas. It really made their day.

I think that today the shop will actually see some cleaning, as I have nothing else planned, but that can change.

25 outside this AM. Heading to mid 50's. It is close enough to the weekend for me to call a mental health day.

Here is the wife with her new toy truck.
Trying to figure out where to park it. LOL.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe...and stay healthy my friends.20210112_170829.jpeg
