Merry Christmas!
54 heading down, we got 1.28” total, one inch from the first line.

I hope everyone got what they wanted. There’s stuff under the tree but my best gifts can’t be bought, my wife, kids, grandkids, still have my mom, not sure for how long, and all my friends, plus decent health
Stuff doesn’t play into the equation.

God bless us every one.

Yes Randy, yes. The best gifts.

Ron, Sassy looking like she's worthy of a Christmas present! I'm glad you got a visit.

Prayers for this Good Earth on Christmas day.

46 here but 25 at brother's in Virginia where it is snowing on Christmas Day.

Other brother just left with wife, son, grandson. We were all masked and distanced and I have a Hepa 13 purifier running
in the room we were in. I had wiped down all the knobs and touch points when I heard the next generations were coming.
More cookies, more enemies of my AIC. SIL brought me several pounds of home made lasagna with extra red sauce.
That I will surely look forward to later.

2.33 inches of rain and there is sure to be ice in the big collection ditch for days as the temps are dropping fast.

Merry Christmas and Good Morning!!!! 48F @ 8:00AM. Cloudy with occasional rain during the afternoon. High 54F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.
Only two days of sunshine in the 10-day forecast today. Still not a lot of accumulation, but it is better than nothing.

Good you got a cable on your generator, Drew, but I wonder if the cord might be better off coiled up under the cover. Seems like the way it's hung now, water will run down into the bag and drown the plug.

Donning my safety inspector hat for a moment, Rick, changing those casters should also involve a set of jack stands.

You were much better off as a youngster motorcycle wise than I was, Kyle. I had to move out of the house before I could own a bike! Talk about a late start...

Congrats to you, Ron, and anyone else that got a white Christmas this year! And you're so right about 2020 being a very challenging year for a lot of us. Here's wishing everyone a much better 2021!

Got both pallets loaded with split firewood yesterday, but had to go past dark to get them moved and stacked into the shipping container. First time I had a chance to use the headlights on the M62, and they are wonderfully bright and even. It all worked out well, and there was even room left to put the splitter in there, too.

Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend, and the whole week if you have it off!

Merry Christmas
Let us share the spirit of the season

Got a bit of pipe run yesterday, all ladder stuff. Took a break and that was it. Ended up watching Bing Crosby’s White Christmas with Sophie. All 2 hrs 45 min. I had intentions to finish that pipe run, but.

Was supposed to make a lemon meringue pie but found I had instant vs cook pudding. And couldn’t find a recipe. Ended up with a meringue less pie.

One of the neighbors showed up unexpectedly and bearing gifts. They usually host a Christmas party, but not this year. Nice outside visit with plenty distance.

Trying something new with the turkey. A stuffing with shrimp and crab. That will go on the Primo this morning as soon as fire is ready. We’ll eat about 2. Cottage tenants John and Diane joining us for a socially distant meal.

Today will be just quiet enjoyment, FaceTime etc.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Present unwrapped. Kitty thought they were his. Youngest son made a Christmas card for the cats.

27° and light snow flurries

No motor bikes on the farm, till my next older brother bought a couple while I was in college. Put one down on ice one winter, banged my left elbow and it still bothers me sometimes.

You mean a Honda "Nightmare"? LOL :)

RNG, I didn't get a bike until I turned 15, got a job at Dairy Queen, got a loan for $425 and bought one. A like new, but used, Honda 1971 SL 125. I rode it everywhere. It brought freedoms I hadn't anticipated. My brother tempted me to go to the beach with him, about a 2 hour ride. We hit a huge thunder storm squall line. Just duck down and hold your hand out in front of your face, trying to keep the dollop sized cold rain drops from stinging like hailstones at 60 mph. The fastest I ever had that bike was about 71mph indicated. It was a turd, performance wise. Had to tear the engine apart once, to replace 5th gear, in the year that I owned it.

To this day, I despise riding in cold weather. My perfect riding weather is about 80F, or on a warm summer night around 9pm, when you aren't getting sun baked. I admit, I'm a fair weather rider.

Like most youngsters, I wanted a motor scooter when I was about 12 years old, and a boy in my class at school had his up for sale. So I finally talked my dad into going to look at it. Just proves how dumb I was at that age. When we knocked on the door, my classmate came to the door on his crutches.:confused3: I quickly realized the mistake I'd made and I knew that my dad would never buy me a scooter or motorcycle.

So I was 19 before I got my first motorcycle; a used 250cc Zundap that I didn't keep very long because the dealer, who was actually an Indian dealership, could never cure it's carburetor problem and he finally agreed to take it back.
