Yep... Know how that is. My first job out of college was Princeton. 1980. I grew up on farms in central PA; I was shocked to see that "other" side. Wifey and I still love New Hope as a get-a-way.

Love it here, always willing to meet up for a drink post-covid

Well I got a great call from my sister today, her son was moved from the covid unit back to his room in the nursing home. He had several ups and downs but is doing well now. I didn't expect him to live til Thanksgiving, let alone Christmas. My sister said she told his doctor the the only thing she could think of was the power of prayer and he agreed, saying he really didn't think that he would make it . This is a very strange disease, like nothing we have seen in my life time. My youngest son, his wife, and their 3 kids all had it and all lost their sense of taste & smell but other than that said that they had all had worse colds.
I want to thank you all for your prayers and good wishes through my nephew's ordeal and my sister also said to thank all of you.

I went through many over the years, this one is about a year and a half old. So far very happy with it. The temperature controlled draft blower works great and it is quite a fuel miser. 8 lbs of charcoal will last 14-16 hours. It has Drew and Buckeye’s pork in it in the picture.

I almost bought a pellet smoker from Costco last year, but didn’t.

I can see a murder charge in my future IF I had to live with someone like that.
They better update their dental plan around here. People don't appreciate a busy body getting up in someone's buisiness. Especially when someone usually does elaborate Xmas displays for their neighbors enjoyment.

Good to see you back. Sounds like a buyer I would have raised the price on.

Yah, me too.

Good morning! 35˚F heading to the 60s.
Welcome back Rick. Your buyer horror stories make my farm sale seem like paradise. My buyers bought everything I could not take with me and let me rent back for a month so only one move was needed.

FireWise today will be a bit different, instead of cedar/brush removal we will be doing rock removal so the mowers can keep the area clean.

Good luck on the bread Eric. My bread is still too dense to win any awards. A pic of the sliced loaf if your's turns out good.

I prefer dense bread.

Start driving, it should be ready late Wednesday morning, early afternoon.

Sorry I'm too late to get to the party on time.

Good evening all. 36 for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light wind day, clear sky, and high temp was 70F. 2 more days in 70's then rain and more seasonable temps. Lost a STL friend to cancer yesterday. Had been fighting it for years, good mechanic and fun to be with. Slow start, changed back to Volagi from Trek, town run for shopping, bike rid and nap when I got back.

Sorry for your friend. I hate cancer. Prayers for all surrounding him.

28 outside. Heading to upper 40's today. Chance of rain.

Mostly, sorry for your loss.

Will try and get the finances in order today for all the stuff going on. Did not expect the retirement account to deal with the major events unfolding. In my fantasy life it was for the beach house, travel adventures and my old Chevy. But as the wife said, we can always sell the place. It's just bad timing I keep saying. Had the place looking good, now I have to tear it up for more plumbing. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

Ok. reset.

Hope all have a great day today. Be safe and stay healthy.

New septic, in a county with plenty of overseers....Not good. Maybe get a quote for a septic on an island home you're considering, just to get a perspective.

So glad to read this. Prayers for continued improvement. We have 3 people at work who got it. I'm fortunate to work in my shop, which has a separate A/C system. Everybody who comes into the shop, has to have a mask on. FWIW.

Good evening all. 34F for the start, clear, light breeze. Light wind day, clear sky, and high temp was 78F (near record). Went fishing with stepson in-law. No bites, no fish, cruised several structures fished the most promising and nothing. Could not find many fish on finder, not sure what deal is. Did get nap in.
