I have fallen behind. Will have to read later, but I wanted to wish Mrs. Mostly a very happy belated birthday. Please forgive my lateness.

Hope all of you are having a blessed day.

I've been looking for a balloon tired dolly for a while now, Paul. Mind sharing make and model number of the one you have?

I just pulled it out of the shed, no make or model that I can see. I also have a folding one with pneumatic tires, but it’s not as heavy duty.
Wesco Manufacturing is not to far from me, and every couple of years they have a “garage sale” that features prototypes, scratch and dent models as well as casters and various other parts. The prices are astoundingly reasonable, and consequently have far more dollies and hand trucks than I should. One example was a burlap bag full of 5/8” screw clevis’ for about 50 cents each.

Well, you’ll just have to do it in the dark.

My LTE wiboost helped my mobley signal. How are you hooking up a yogi David? Don’t you use mobley also?

Yard all mowed. Beautiful day.

58F and clear @ 19:30, high hit 72.9F ...

Ten Day still looking good for the next three days ... although rain coming in late on the third day and more seasonable temps after that.

Caught a glimpse of a Northern Flicker on the suet feeders this morning so they are still around. Haven't been seeing much of them lately though.

Squeak was sent to the garage for her morning safari.

More compost screening done over the last several days and clean up of debris by southeast planting bed, worked on repairing berm around catch basin, sprayed rebar with orange marking paint for driveway markers, blew leaves off area that needs seeded behind west planting bed, blew leaves out of excavation for creek crossing.

Today finished work on catch basin berm repair, sowed grass seed, and also put in driveway markers:

Finish adding and raking out screened soil behind west planting bed, sowed grass seed and got it raked in:

Also starting raking and blowing leaves off of area between creek bed and southwest planting bed:

Hopefully get that one finished up and the seed sown and raked in tomorrow.

Finished off the Pappa Johns from yesterday and then a bowl of chili from the Steak and Shake ... capped off with a chocolate malt from Stricklands ...

Now ... a little work on that second squirrel feeder before bedtime ... :D

Hope everyone had a great day.

Ok , I tried that, but couldn’t get a good connection on the board inside. The antenna point inside is a test point I think, not really made for an external connection. I haven’t looked at it too close. My weboost has helped the signal.

Good morning all. Looks like we are in for a few hours of rain this morning, a good time to take a bit of a rest with my feet up. Got carried away with slightly too much chainsaw time yesterday. I was felling alders in the wetland, which is tricky as in places the mud is deep in there, however I discovered that if I cut the brash off then lay it in front of me, it makes a good mud mat, allowing me to carefully ease over without sinking too far to reach the next one. I tried to keep on going all afternoon and cut my way out the other side, however it was lack of daylight in lieu of common sense that eventually defeated me.

That ditch sucker with the mud firing cannon looks great fun! If I had one though, I would be too tempted to dig extra unnecessary ditches and encourage soil erosion by ploughing adjacent pasture, all just to have another blast :ashamed:

My wife has 40 alpacas and the bin is for the manure.
Popgadget, congratulations, you are the first person to ever have me contemplating Alpaca poop while eating breakfast. There are lots of enquiring minds on "Good morning", many will be wondering how long will it take for 40 Alpacas to fill your new bin. My question though is once the bin is half full, will you be providing a ramp to make it easier for them to get up there ? :)
