Drew, my tractor dealer always offered to sell on a 5% commission if you were buying another tractor from them, not sure what the commish would be if just flat out selling it, with no re-purchase. You always have to remember, they can get another one, brand new, at dealer cost. So a person can't expect them to come within 80ish% of new.

Still busy as heck at work, and they keep upping the amount of work I have, but not extending the time. I don't get paid overtime, so I rarely work it.
.

Busy at work also, but I get paid OT at straight time if the project will pay it. I don’t want to work OT. I worked 10 hrs today, then it took 1.5 hrs to get home. Had deer run in front of me, but almost got rear ended when I braked for the deer. I was fortunate to get home without an accident. Eat supper, do a couple things for my wife, and it’s going on 10 already. My feet are really tingling from the GBS.

Sorry about your GBS issue. Glad you made it home safe. I saw a guy who ran off the road in the rain, and had run the passenger side up against a tree, but it didn't wrap around it. He was walking around, talking to the officers.

I find myself praying for safe travels often.

To hit a deer or not.....I hope I've made up my mind about hitting smaller animals. Better to hit them than swerve and crash. But deer or bigger, that's another problem.

The only thing I recall about Apex is one night in 1965, I was with mom in her new Pontiac 2+2, we got off the main road to get gas, which was a regular occurrence with that 421.
When we left the little station we turned on a street closer to the route we wanted, no street lights, ran through the biggest pothole I’ve ever seen in my life, thought it took the suspension off the right front. It didn’t hurt a thing and we headed on to SC.

Good evening all. 65F for the start, light rain, .1 inch in gauge, calm wind. Light wind, periods of light rain, drizzle, and fog, and high temp was 71F. Conservation of energy today, wife and I had some joint putter jobs, and did get short nap in.
Covid update: Cooke 410 confirmed cases, 25 active cases, Montague 167 confirmed cases, 8 active cases, Grayson 1796 confirmed cases, 94 active cases.
Drew good luck getting the RV worked on and hope you get a worth while offer.
Ron glad pond is clean once more, was fun pond sitting for neighbors while they were gone. Great pic
Randy have fun with your chores
Don, hope you are having fun watching it rain, understand about 3 hour commute, wanting to spend time with your mom, and un-fun jobs. My mom would have lived longer and more independent had she been more honest with Dr and caregivers about health issues.
Ken what is poke?
PJ I understand, however I will get the occasional why are you not getting more done?
Rick I see burn piles burning in near future.
RS sorry about the starlings, hope you get some transplanting done
Randy hope trimming goes well, enjoy club meeting
David what about progress pics?
Drew good new on RV
RNG, so the van is ready for new tags? Or do you have to fix EGR first?
David great pics of Makani
Thomas sorry you missed an encounter with moose.
Kyle doesn't any think about your workload, or do they just say hey watch Kyle pull a rabbit out of his hat?
RS nice busy day, cookies sound good.
Dennis isn't the family circus grand? 10 hours is a long day on computer
prayers for all, especially Drew/move, Jay/Peg, Kyle's daughter, Mike, David(moss)/move/sale, RNG/fire, and Country

Mostly, be interesting Ken’s answer, but for me

Poke (Hawaiian dish) - Wikipedia

Not much a progress pic, but I did get the container doors removed today.

The real challenge was getting the doors safely removed by myself. Used my pallet forks but still an interesting exercise. Now that they are safely on the ground will be much easier.

Bit of a warming spell...50 right now...high in the low 70's.

I'm pretty much the same as Roy. 47 going to 70.
New step down transformer doing it's thing and the heat is finally up and running as designed. We hope. Will monitor for a couple days.

Not much going on now, winding down projects at work and trying to show how to do things to the right people. Not much interest in learning so I am backing off on that.
5 weeks time off on the books that I will get paid for but it sure is tempting to just stay home. (could be 90 days before I get my first check so the money will help while waiting.)
Only 7 more work days so I will stick it out. 13 more actual Thomas days left to go.

good morning all. Yes Roy, warming up a bit here, glad to send you a few degrees...
51 out now, getting much warmer to 77 today on what should be a nice day.
Looks like rain and warmer weather due in on Friday, I see four days in the 80's. Back on comes the a/c.

Have to go to laundry this morning to drop off wash and fold bag, then off to Harbor Freight for a few things including a nice little tool bag I see they
have on sale. Then going to pick up a can of car wax and maybe work on a few scratches on the rv, and the hood of my car. Nice way to stay out in the sunshine
on a pretty day

I am happy with outcome of rv sale. Got almost full retail from a dealer buying wholesale; that doesn't happen often. Yes I could have netted more if I tried to sell it myself on
rvtrader.com but dealing with the lookey lous is tiring. So many emails, is it still for sale? and then you say yes and hear nothing. Plus dealer isn't going to drive it, other than back to their store vs some unknown buyer who wants to take it out for a ride. I took the bird in hand instead of two in the bush...

I have had a Stanley Fatmax 700 jumpstarter in my car for years. Lost the charging cable, ordered one on Amazon. Lots of positive reviews and also many saying this ten dollar Chinese charger didn't work at all.
Plugged unit in last night, which hadn't been charged in at least four months, and it showed full charge. ? Must be a good quality battery in it. Has an air compressor as part of it, one of those things I never leave home without. Plus it was my go to tire inflator for lawn and garden equipment. With so many cars not having spare tires today, nice to take along some air. Jump started my Kubota UTV with it several times when neighbor's small boy fiddled with the light switch and battery drained. Just one of those truly handy dandy things to have around.

When driving over to Apex yesterday, after dealing with deteriorating roads in this area, amazed to see this glass smooth highway being repaved again in many sections. Now if they
would only do that to I-95...driving on fresh macadam has a certain give to it, not like the concrete bump bump bumps you get on interstate.
