Good morning to all! Guess what? Yep, no changes to the weather. Severe drought area keeps expanding, now "exceptional" drought areas growing too. By this time of year, we normally have a year to date total of rain around 8 inches.... we are just over half of that. Not good! At least some of the smoke is clearing out, maybe just half as bad now.
Drew, did you grab one of those donuts? I would find it very hard not to.... I am glad to hear that you are doing well. Any further info on a house up in PA.?
Ron, I have been attempting to capture a hummingbird pic with my IPad..... no luck so far... Thanks for sharing yours.
Roy, glad to hear that the audit is almost over.... I bet you are ....
Ken, I hope you find the leak soon! Did the leak ever make its way to the surface?
Rng, good luck with running / fixing the ethernet cable.
Yesterday I got all the metal cut and welded together for the fuel transfer cart.... well, I thought I did.... after putting away the welder and cutting tools, I realized that I needed two hose brackets.... not just one.... so this morning I will cut that one and get it welded on, then paint it. Didn't get any pics yesterday, but will today.
I have been procrastinating about doing the last run of drip irrigation out to an existing landscape bed. That bed does have all the irrigation drippers in place, but the feed / supply line is still connected to the old house. The reason for the procrastination is because the new line has to cross 100 ft of stone driveway..... so it has to be trenched by hand with a pick and trenching shovel.
With that in mind, I realized something else that I procrastinated on and truth be told, forgot all about..... the power going out to the garage / shop is also connected to the old house.... it will have basically the same route as the irrigation line, so a 100' second trench needs to be done.... I am kicking myself in the rear end right now.... no rush to get the electric one done, so might wait for cooler weather to do it.
Gonna get movin'.... everyone have a great day!
