75F and mostly cloudy @ 23:45. High hit 89 today. Similar expected for tomorrow only more humid.

Finished mowing front, including blowing cut grass into windrows. Probably go ahead tomorrow and collect that up with Trac Vac and then mow around house. Hopefully getting close to being able to remove the MMM for a couple of weeks.

Cleaned out pan and cooked up a beeswax/BLO concoction this evening after mowing.

The Woman stopped by the Rib Man’s on way home and grabbed a rack and potato salad ... Just finished a large bowl of Pierre’s Peanut Butter Cup ice cream ... very tasty ...

Hope everyone had a great day.

Good morning all. Keep thinking we must be due a break in the weather soon to get the grass in the fields cut, but the forecast this morning says dream on. Yesterday our son came over with his girlfriend for the first time since virus lockdown. Weather was at least kind enough to dry up and let us sit outside for 3 hours, then out of nowhere came thunder, lightning and rain so heavy it part flooded the yard.

David, quite a few dogs have owners who take good care of them, but not many get to live in a paradise where they enjoy life so much that they don't want to let go until the vet is about to call them them. She was a very lucky dog, I hope the sadness is fading a little today while you sit back with a cold beer and tell Kekoa some tales of when Kalani was a pup.

Kyle, I see that waiting for facebook message too when posting pics, even though I have never used facebook. My guess is that it is coming from the old-in-the-tooth software that powers this forum.

Roy, I hope your new washing machine lasts a long time, although with a drum that size, I would always be thinking of what it could be used for come the day it not longer wants to wash clothes. I kept the drum from our last washer, it has often made a perfect filter when pumping (and syphoning!) dirty water.

good morning all.
77 going up to 95 today, hot and humid.

this morning I do wash and last of box packing.
otherwise a quiet day
glad some of you in Texas got much needed rain and nothing more than that.

21 officers injured in Seattle, really sad, more than agitation, folks who need to be locked up for a while.
I doubt that many of the 45 arrested were productive human beings.

Eric, great use for washer drum

May your Sunday be pleasant and not too hot.

Looks like Hurricane Douglas will go right over top of Honolulu but at least North of the Big Island.
Probably a lot of rain and wind for David.

73 going to 97. No rain yesterday or expected today.

Ground was damp enough yesterday to mow, but is still hard and dry below the surface...took sledge hammering a piece of rebar to make the holes needed to install a new shepherd's hook for hanging more hummingbird feeders.

Don that weather device looks pretty cool. I finally got a chance to go to the website for a few minutes...looking forward to more reports on how it is doing...amazing how it measures rain. How is it affected if a bird lands on it?

Eric, glad you got to see you son/GF. We haven't seen 2 of ours since Christmas. The other lives in the next county, so relatively close...called for help yesterday on changing his mower blades...leaves a good feeling to be asked for help...hope my advice worked :).

Wind finally calmed enough late yesterday afternoon for me to strap on the backpack sprayer and go hunting. One target area was a bust...the drought yellowed much of the poison ivy and the field grass was too tall to see/spray effectively anyway...should have gotten to it back in May. But got some other spots done, and sprayed a small strip that the tractor missed when using the 3-point sprayer last month. Took over 2 hours. I like my new sprayer better than the HF one that died, but the HF has wider and more comfortable shoulder straps. So my shoulders are a bit tender this morning.

Watched a little baseball...good to see the Orioles come back strong. Was disappointed with the "fans" in the stadium on a different game...weren't computer generated, but cardboard cut-outs placed behind home plate since you see that close up during every pitch. Each one holding a dog since it was a Petco section. Lots of "crowd" noise.

68 right now...high in the upper 80's...

Didn't make it to the rally...wifey was too worried about possible violence and I'm too old to get my butt kicked...so, she won the discussion. Turnout was great (250 or so) and, although there was an anti-police (more likely, anti-conservative) BLM group was nearby, no violence other than chanting and threats. There was a small police presence to keep the peace. Not enough to quell a riot though, if things had gone south
You really got to wonder who's behind this terrorist movement. Insane!

Mowed the lawn late afternoon yesterday. Some weed trimming this morning, I think...maybe mow the field too, if time permits before the heat rolls in

Poured first cup of coffee. 61° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 91° with mostly sunny skies. Sprayed buildings with Wet and Forget. Should get rid on most of the mold that has collected on north side and area's where sun does not shine. Also sprayed weed killer around areas where weeds have decided to grow and they shouldn't. Cleaned radiator in JD with Ricks blower/wash tools. Cannot remember what it is called. Pond maintenance this morning. Then former neighbors is having lake party for old neighbors. Social distancing and mask will be followed. Going to introduce them to my girl friend. My Aunt is going to be with me. She is getting a kick out of it. Little story. When I was born she baby sat/took care of me the whole summer. She was 13 years old. Now I know where all my bad habit came from.
Cannot trap a squirrel in Sparrow Trap. Need to get a squirrel guard on pole.

David, Kalani will be missed. My Muffin is near the rainbow bridge. But just when I think this is it. She is back to normal for her age. She never misses her treats.

Drew, is tomorrow moving day?

Roy, glad you followed wife's advice.

Eric, good use for a old washer tub. Mine is on legs and used for a fire pit.

Mostly, 2 hr nap.

Randy, nice Awing.

Don, nice weather station. Lot more info than my Lacrosse gives me.

Prayers for everyone.

Good Morning All.
