82F and partly cloudy @ 11:00, high for the day predicted to be 89F.

Looks like we missed our opportunity for any significant rain yesterday, next real chance will be Mon/Tue/Wed apparently.

WB is calling for Sat/Sun to be "Very Hot" (92F/93F) ...

The Squeak is having sneezes for the past couple of days ... so either a little summer cold or allergies. I'm betting on allergies. I'm due to clean furnace filter.

Have extra set of hands coming over later to help with ripping plywood. Need to take some measurements for shelf widths. Thinking I might just go ahead and throw the loader/pallet forks on and move the saws around back under the deck where it's shady, which will help declutter the garage a little.

Other than that, look for stuff to do somewhere it's shady ... although I do need to do some watering.

Probably do some more mowing/grass pick up later this evening ... after it cools off some and the sun gets lower in the sky.

First cup of coffee is cooling. 59ｰ with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87ｰ with mostly sunny skies. Rain totaled 3/8" yesterday. Just enough to make weeds grow some more. Got a grocery shopping list for today. Then visit RV friends that are remodeling a lake house next town over.
Here is some competition for Riptide. Let dogs out and noticed how bright 1/4 moon was. Did not expect full moon in picture. Taken toward east.

Plan is to finish container clean out. Flexible otherwise. Do believe the mowers are beginning to taunt me when I walk past. The grass isn’t getting any shorter on its own.

Here is an odd one for you.... I love spaghetti/ Italian food, pizza, etc.. But, I cannot stand ketchup, not even the smell... figure that out...

For me it's smell or drink tomato juice. :confused2:

having some challenges getting moving companies to take partial load to PA, I can see their point though.
no problem with locals taking furniture out of here and putting it in local storage, that's the easy part.
It would all fit in a small Uhaul, getting someone to make the drive is the issue. Not me....

95 out, feels like 100, showers or thunderstorms likely later this afternoon.
they brought a special huge lunch today and I'm still stuffed, pulled pork, fried chicken, sides and cherry cobbler for dessert.
clearly got enough calories today...and it was pretty good too.

waiting for Audi dealer to bring my car back, lady driver could not figure out doorbell setup and looked at me like I was crazy when
I didn't come out. Sorry miss I don't make the rules here.
Room got cleaned today, had to leave because vacuum noise drives my tinnitus nuts, so I did another set of laps around hallways. There's usually someone
hollering from one of the rooms. One day it was for the police. Today it was for Edgar. Kind of sad actually.

Business office was nice when I gave my notice today and they understood fully since I'm such an outlier to their normal patients here.

Woa! This mask stuff is getting crazy. Friend of ours went to the post office to mail a letter. She was wearing a mask because she is immune compromised. The guy at the window gave her static. Come on! What happened to polite?

It can get crazy.

Picked up 2 pizzas on way home from a wood fire pizza place I never tried before. Curbside only, call when you get there, they bring it out. Except they wouldn’t walk 5 steps over to my car parked in handicapped, they set it on a table and I had to get out to get it. At least it wasn’t far. I even put mask on in my car for them to hand it to me.
Pizza was pretty good, just cools off a lot on drive home, even in this heat.
Was 97° when I left work, hit 99° on the way, then dropped to 93° when I was home.
We got a light sprinkle last night that just wet the dust.
