Good morning!!!!

Good Morning!!!! 72F @ 7:30AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 102F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

People are going crazy, K5lqw, and not just from CV19 related stress. It's the heat, it's the inflammatory and divisive media, negative influences everywhere you turn. And with all the shut downs and stay-at-home orders, there's no where to turn. At least the police have a line on that guy, but probably not a bad idea to practice situational awareness and be ready in case something untoward unfolds.

I don't find it surprising that CV19 can survive and even be transmitted between animals, Kyle. After all, it started in bats. And I wouldn't be surprised if people caught it from their pets, either. Might help to explain some of the "community" transmission we're seeing.

Forgot all about the delayed tax deadline, having filed this year the day before the postponement was announced. Glad it's done, and the interest on what I owed wouldn't have amounted to a hill of beans, anyway.

I was on Niacin for a while, Drew, but never got used to the hot flashes like my PC said I would. I was also taking fish oil until some well supported studies showed it had no positive effects. I feel that the fewer medications I can get away with, the fewer chances for negative interactions, or as was the case with Zantac, newly discovered ties to cancer. Glad you were able to help your Audi dealer stay in business. I just hope you don't have to carry them single handed.:laughing:

Sounds like work like that might be better off taken in small doses anyway, Mike. Still gets done, just takes more days.

Glad to hear Coco is improving, Billy, and wish her a rapid recovery.

Haven't heard much about the rolling stairs, Rick. You all done with 'em?

We have an expert tunneler in our midst, Ken. Paging David to the white courtesy telephone...

Good to hear from you David (moss flower). Nice to read you're doing OK, and good luck with the horse trading!

Sounds like a nightmare, Jay, but one you've made it through. Hope you and Peg can get back to normal soon. Even though normal these days seems quit unlike anything I've known before...

Sounds like you had fun doing your father-in-law a favor, Randy. Keep up the good work!

Had a good day yesterday. Gravel guy was right on time, and passed the final inspection on the solar power system. Now just need approval from PG&E, the local utility, before the final tuning of the control system and can start selling excess power back to them. Got the road base I'd spread consolidated to the upper part of the parking apron, but ran out of cool to start spreading the new stuff on the lower section. Worked on draining gas and hooking chargers up to bikes that won't get ridden for the rest of the summer, and got my ride for the weekend running. Turns out I robbed the battery hold down straps from that one, so I'll get to drop by the dealership today for replacements. Haven't seen 'em in quite a while, so it'll be interesting to see how they're doin'.

The hummers are reminding me that their feeders are empty, and I need to make up a new batch of nectar. I'll probably ride that bike to town as a shake down, and want to do it before it gets much warmer. So it's time to kick off another Hump Day...

Well, curiosity got the best of me... I had to look up my old property / house that I built in Bucks Co. years ago. I sold it in 1990 for $199K. When I just looked it up.... going price is $965K..... I should not have looked.... At least it is interesting that the same siding and color of shutters is the same. The few trees I planted near the house are humongous! I guess that is cool....

Prices here spiked a few years back and have now stabilized , but very high.
They just built a house so big on Eagle I think they could have a race track inside. When it lights up at night i swear it looks like versaille! I think the estimate was 4.9 million.
My house would easily fit in one of the garages, with room left to park a few cars.

Just in case you didn't know there are some real nut jobs in this world! My wife works for our local TV station and received death threats over COVID-19 reporting. He gave his name and location and cursed her and her co-workers like no one could imagine. The police had a talk with him which only set him off more. The sad thing is he has no idea that you shouldn't mess with a farm boy's wife!

Regardless how you might believe with this Covid stuff, remember that some people in the media are just doing their job with no hidden agenda.

Anyway, prayers for all to keep safe!

I think we are starting to see how stressed out people are from job losses, covid virus, kids at home, a job at home, you name it. I do think the media could share the news without trying to scare us to death.

Windows are clean. Was going to fly drone today. Battery in iPad Mini was at 3%. Waiting for it get up to 50%.

Jay, glad Peg is getting better and Brogan weighs more than you.

Rick, my RG works good also. I bought mine right after you got yours. Commission will be on hold for awhile. Have to pay property taxes soon.

Riptide, and have done our porch ceilings with vertical vinyl siding. I like mine and have his. Looks good. Just an idea that may help not getting glue off old surface.

Drew, house looks like it has forced air. Easy to add A/C to that.

Wngsprd, glad Coco is doing better.

We have watched some of the properties near us listed in recent years at what we thought were ridiculously high prices ... and they all sold. These are not palatial estates. They are modest, ranch-style country homes on 5-ish acres, just like ours, with some selling for well over $500K. Seems crazy.

69°F and .79 inches rain.

Now I have 2 pickups at the PO.

Progress day in tractorshed yesterday. Added some shelves, but not up to Ted’s standard. Just some on hand old plywood cut to fit. Electrical stuff rough sorted into bins. Cleanup probably about 90%. Biggest challenge is where to put remaining conduit, used wire, fittings to be out of the way before they find a new home.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Kekoa doing well on his meds with only 1, very short episode observed yesterday. Cut his steroid back from 3 to 2 as it was zoning him out. Tomorrow he goes to tapered dosage. He can be very adapt at getting a pill out of masking media. Currently getting cold cuts, next up will be cheese. Peanut butter works on single pills, but he’s good at sucking it off multiples if he chooses. Worst cases I’ve crushed in with mortar & pestle before hiding.

Glad to read good news on Coco 🤙
