Worship this morning, then picked up carry out from our usual Sunday Italian place.
Lady from church that is from the same county in Ohio that I’m from gave me some interesting history write ups of an old 1800s mill near her hometown. I got scanner out and made copies. Then since scanner was out, and too hot outside, I scanned more of mom and dads loose photos from 1950s- 70s. Then I stored the photos in envelopes by year. Fortunately most of these photos had year and month stamped on them. The ones I have from late 30s to early 50s don’t. And mom wrote on the back of a lot of these.
After I put scanner away, I discovered a few more pictures in bottom of the box.
I also did some organization of some of the digital photos I’ve already scanned from that era. And then did a backup of all my photos.

Mostly, wife usually juices the lilikoi, great addition to salad other dishes, add to tea and other drinks. Some friends make lilikoi butter, some pie.

another hot one today, 76 now heading back up to 91.
more strange dreams last night, wonder if one of the meds is doing it.
Woke up at 3am and forced myself back to sleep, little groggy now, so the beeping
of the coffee maker is welcome.
turns out that local Publix uses Instacart to deliver groceries to one's door, minimum 35 bucks for free delivery.
Think I'm going to try that, see how it works. Can't depend upon garden club ladies, hope for the best, plan for the likely.
David, grab handle good idea, don't want to lose balance stepping up plus something to pull on. Good safety item.
Stock one often not in best spot.

Good morning. Quite windy this morning and showers coming fast enough to need a waterproof while strolling around the fields.
BEF, good idea to spend a little time scanning older pictures. Our 70's era prints have deteriorated most, must be something about the chemicals used at the time as older and later ones are still fine.
Ron, a few days ago you made a comment about fencing staple removal tools, so I took a pic to show you what I use. My favourite for prying out stubborn staples is a round steel bar with a bent hardened end that has been sharpened to a point to allow it to be hammered under the staple.
I had a smaller version and a friend once said he would make me a longer one for better leverage. Sadly he didn't get chance as he died suddenly shortly after, which would have been no surprise to him as he had commented only a week beforehand that none of his ancestors lived much past 60 and by his reckoning he was approaching that time. He had no family, no home and very few possessions, but never once did I hear him complain, he invariably had a smile on his face whenever he appeared out of nowhere. Several of us chipped for his surprisingly well attended funeral and some time later another friend passed on to me the tool in the picture. I would hate to loose it, that's why it is painted silver, with blue heat shrink tubing for good measure.

62F cloudy mid 70's for high on/off showers into tonight,what rain we did get over night was blessing.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 57ｰ with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87ｰ with a few clouds. Got barn door repair done yesterday. Need to caulk and prime it today. Getting ready to paint whole barn. Neighbor wants some wood chips moved. Seat time on tractor. Then back in house out of the heat.
