63 going to 86 and sunny.

Rip, awesome storm photo...I think we were seeing the southern end of that row of storm cells and it looked similar except darker. Glad we only got the edge of the storm since they were saying 2 inch hail was in the center.

Mostly, nice bass...I bet quite the fight on a flyrod.

Eric, we installed our geothermal in 1998, and the tops of the 3 trenches still have a strange mix of weeds and wildflowers not elsewhere in our field. I work on them every few years to fill in any low spots, and bush hog the entire field at least once per year.

My wife cut my hair for the first time ever...a tougher job since it hadn't been cut since February 19. Then I shaved the remainder of my corona beard/stache so look like my former self, except with a couple of extra covid pounds. She didi a great job...always cut her dads hair.

Pinch me...is baseball season really only a month away? My 3 fantasy baseball teams are all ready to take the field. It's interesting to see what people name their teams...one guy in one league named his team "Can'tWeAllJustLoot?" Another guy must live over in Toppop's area - Delmarva Dark Horses.

Back to the dermatology vet today. Got test results back and not good news.

Weatherman showed a future-radar-style map to show the Sahara dust moving in...added that it will boost air to unhealthy levels for people with respiratory issues. Heard another guy yesterday wonder why such a fuss is being made about this since it happens about twice a year regularly, and as was said, most of the hurricanes we get originate off the west coast of Africa. It is pretty cool thinking we are getting "soil" from another continent, not unlike how volcanic dust travels the globe.

Picked our first pepper, but the lettuce, radishes, and spinach are over. Can see first squash and tomatoes on the vines.

Drinking coffee from Flores today...one called Wolo Wio.

I have a total new found respect for a good jar of Classico Mushroom and ripe olive sauce for about $2.50.
I totally agree Kyle. Classico is my go to brand, try to buy it on sale, and I start making sauce using my own tomatoes by dumping a jar of the ready made in there.
I like tomato sauce with some bite to it, and anything too sweet is a turnoff, but a container of mushrooms always goes in the mix. Plus some sauteed onions
and green peppers. Usually some sausage or meatballs go in after the sauce has cooked down.

am reminded of the famous Sopranos scene where they are making a red sauce. Little bit of this, little bit of that...

went online and got my absentee ballot request form. Never done this before, easy process, they don't even ask why you are requesting it though they are pretty detailed if you are getting help completing it, like in a place where I am now. No, I can do this myself... Not sure where I'll be this Fall, so figure I'd better do this now while I have a legal address locally. Need to go bum a mailing envelope from business mgr here, since I brought her chocolate donuts yesterday, think that will be easy...
Asked for ballot to be sent by email so no matter where I am will get it.

I consider voting super important, though usually only vote in national elections since hard to find out info on locals. Was spoiled in PA where League of Women Voters used to complete a great educational pamphlet on the candidates, even the ones running for local elections, showed education, job history, nothing like that here. I would study that carefully, circle my choices, and take pamphlet in to voting booth.
Have always tried avoiding just pulling the party lever, if I don't know who I'm voting for, usually abstain.

My mother once ran for office, she had her arm bent, local lady attorney was an attractive choice. She lost badly but a great memory came out of it.
Big party at our farm, governor of PA came in by helicopter and landed in our front field, now that was cool. But the funniest part was our family dog got into the kitchen where there were two big pans of baked chicken made for the crowd up on counter, smell must have been irresistible, and 100 pound dog dumped them both on the floor and chowed down. What a cleanup that was, surprised dog didn't get hurt by chicken bones. No one seemed to be the wiser and party went on.
No kibbles for dog that night, bad dog...of course to him, this was just a Las Vegas buffet made just for him.;)

59 right now...high about 80 today...

Vacation day for me, but I have a customer webinar in a couple hours...after that, got one limb to drop. Grass could use mowing, but it's awful brown (not as bad as earlier this week) so might let it go until next week. However, the forecast is for rain most of next week. If I do mow, the deck will be set high.
I need to pick up a rifle at my local gun shop. I probably wrote this before, but as a reminder, it's a Ruger American bolt action in .300 Blackout.
Other chores, if time permits, is some weed trimming...haircut, if the barber shop is open...and what ever else I think of.
Stepdaughter bought a kayak, so we went to pick it up yesterday. Not bad...some kind of plastic but seems well made. It's tied down in the truck bed. She and a friend are going kayaking this afternoon...hope it goes well. BTW, she did order a roof carrier...won't be delivered until next week though.
That's about it...

First cup of coffee is cooling. 50ー with clear skies this morning. Heading to 85ー with late afternoon thunderstorms. Got barn door project started. Cut metal backing for hinges. Will not get anymore done today. Shopping this morning with Aunt. Then help neighbor build new ladder/stairs for Play set. Until storms move in.
Hummingbirds are being more cooperative with in flight pictures.

Drew, Classico was my wife's favorite sauce to start a meal. Mushrooms, Italian sausage, ground beef, garlic and a few more items. She wrote it down for me when she could not cook anymore. Check if software is up to date on your iPhone. I think this happens to my phone at times. Has to do with amount of people using network at time goes thru. I have phone set to send all calls that are not in my contact list to voicemail. This setting is under Settings and Phone.

Riptide, great picture.

Wngsprd, haircut? I have been trimming my hair since February. Hair is almost to my shoulders in back. Going to see if I can get it cut next week.

Mostly, nice fish.

Buckeye, nice sunset. We are on the edge of the Sahara Dust. Will most likely get rained out. But I have camera ready just in case.

Everyone stay healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.
