Well, the steering works fine again for now. I was able to buy some aftermarket oil at a great price from our local B&B auto supply. 5gallons for $34 and change.

The Kubotas use the same oil for the hydraulics and the transmission/gear cases. Literally the same oil, it circulates everywhere. I wonder if the gear wear problems I suffered on the front of the old tractor were due to the TSC house brand oil I used in it?

No telling. Same for our Deere, hydraulic oil for gears and hydraulics. Deere HyGard is a hybrid between 46 and 68 viscosity.

68°F and .25 inches rain. A beautiful start to the day so far.
Expect to get canopy installed this morning minus the electrical part. Then I can mount the flail and get to mowing.

Really sore back yesterday. I was going to get another couple hours in digging before I went to town, but just didn't have it in me. Better today, but still not feeling very motivated for another dose of shovel therapy. I should probably get more mowing done before the humidity drops, anyway. Yeah, that sounds pretty good...:laughing:

You forgot the non-existent concrete mixer, but it would probably fit into the non-existent dump trailer with the non-existent wood chipper, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I’ll see if I could park a non-existent dump trailer next to my non-existent back hoe and non-existent wood chipper? I guess the non-existent wood chipper could sit in the non-existent dump trailer .. to save space???

Thanks for the youtube link on repairing the battery with a 30 amp automotive fuse. That is the 5amp battery that I am trying to get replaced under warranty a $202 battery. EGO is not answering their phones for 2 days now. I have a variety of other EGO batteries to use.

Beautiful sunny day. 80°

Was up till 2am, so slow start. Had meeting at church, we are having worship tomorrow with 6 ft distance and other modifications. Got groceries, and 2 cans diesel and 4 cans gas on way home.

They called for rain here all last week, we got some early Friday and drizzle during the day. Ground already dry. Might mow the front later. Got steaks several weeks ago that will get grilled tonight.
