I saw where EA're putting holes into the side of the bucket to attach the tooth bar, Rick, but the edge that's already on there is held by bolts on approximate seven inch centers. Don't think I need those side holes, right?:confused2: So I think all I need is the length, width, and thickness of the edge that's on there, and the bolt spacing so they can get the holes in the right spots.

If it was me .. I'd just remove the existing bar / bolts and install the PTB or EA TB with the two bolts in the sides of your bucket. That would reduce the complication IMHO.

Good morning 39! going up to 71. Very cold for this time of year.
Jay, it's spring and time for fishing to get the mood up. Used to go up the road to Mt. Greylock to pick strawberries for my mom to bake into a pie.

Today, try to get salt for the pool.

Stay safe, be well.

Yes, it would be less complicated. But it would also leave the middle of the new tooth bar unsupported because it mounts underneath the lip of the bucket.

I'm still going to be calling EA, but not until I get some pretty precision measurements of the existing edge, including the bolt hole centers.

A late good morning from me after an early wakening to the sound of rain on the roof. Big fat heavy drops, full of promise for a good soaking, however in the few seconds it took to close the window above our bed, it was all over. The clouds soon passed, with no wind this afternoon has been perfect for sitting outside in the shade, watching my wife plant her sweat peas.

Ron, BEF, you both win the prizes for the sun pics.

Mostly, is it the camera angle, or had that fish lost half of it's tail fin?

RNG, better to break something on the tractor than your neck, I'd say go for the widest wheel setting possible unless you intend to plant a vineyard.

LS, not good to see a crack like that and I shouldn't smile, but RNG's comments were funny.

Bird, your bike did well to fit you and your brother for so many years whiles you would have been growing fast. Maybe if you did a sketch of the frame, someone could recognise the brand. My first mountain bike was American, a "GT Karakorum" and that also had a very "distinctive" frame, no real benefits except a few extra pennies in weight for the scrapyard.

Wng, PJ, last week I would have gladly given you your weather back, now I'm kind of getting used to this :)

65F and mostly cloudy @ 11:00. Some showers in the area showing up on radar but most of the rain is to the south.

Quite pleasant out actually.

Ten Day Forecast has morphed into a potential disaster, showing a possibility of rain on EIGHT of the ten days ... :(

Have not heard that cylinder seals are in yet, so if I don't hear anything by this afternoon I'll probably give the local Kubota dealer a call.

In the meantime, I have about 40 gallons of water to draw, vacuum the carpet in the fish room, feed fish, feed cats, plus some more tank maintenance.

If I get all that done, probably head up to the shop and do some more clean up there.

Another late start here, Good morning to all! Low was 40, going to 80 today. Sunny and breezy.

Even though I have that darn crack forming on the tractor, I had to chuckle at RNG also. It seems these days it does not mater what the item or cost is, the manufacturers are determined to find some cost cutting measure. I am sure this was a brainstorm from a cousin of the Kubota engineer.... you know, they are in competition to save $0.50 per unit....

BEF, nice pic of the sunset.
Ron, great pic as usual.
Mostly, nice bass, did it put up a good fight?

Jay, glad Brogen made it back after his escapades galavanting through the neighborhood!

I sure wish Drew would surface..... Randy, thanks for trying to make contact.

Today’s agenda is to continue with prepping the shed area. Thinking ahead, I am going to run a drip irrigation line across the area for possible future use. It will be a lot easier To do it now. This afternoon, I may have a chance to go get the gravel.

Everyone have a great day!

RS, any recent pics of the tank room? Last pic I remember seeing was when you were still setting it up. I am being too lazy to try and search for them ....

RS, the CDC came out and said something to the likes of, it is harder to catch the virus from surfaces than they first predicted. I'm still betting, the #1 way to get it, is to inhale microdroplets of virus from a sick person.

That jives with what our resident epidemiologist (Island Tractor) has said.

We have not been talking any special precautions here as far as handling of packages, items coming in from outside.

And I still argue with my friends that a properly worn and managed N95 mask will help. I don't have the luxury of just throwing away my masks and getting a new one.

Probably a wise move on your part ... (ignoring social conventions and wearing a mask)

We do try and remember to wear our masks when we go out in public - particularly given there are absolutely no "stylistic" downsides :D:
