Good morning!!!!

55°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 62° today. Drove through a bit of drizzle in the city on the way to work.

Rained on us pretty much all weekend. Got a short break Saturday morning, and used that to make the trek to Tractor Supply for chicken feed. Also stopped on the way home at a newer mower dealer in Highland, where The Wife had ordered a trailer hitch bracket for the back of the zero turn mower. It apparently came in sometime last week, but they never called to let us know. Probably won't last long doing business like that.

Spent most of the rest of the weekend inside. Wife finished a long-running cross stitch project, and I spent the majority of my time in the studio working on a couple of recording projects. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.

I spent a lot of my teenage years peddling my Gitane Tour de France 10-speed. It was a fantastic bike, which I found at a garage sale in 1979 for $75 (also grass cutting money). My best friend and I put on some serious miles over the next few summers, probably close to what mostly_ does these days.

Hope all is well with Drew.

Curl/Dump cylinder seal kits ordered from local Kubota dealer - along with 6 new pedal covers for the clutch, brake, HST (fwd/rev), and diff lock pedals, a little can of touch up paint, eng/hyd/hst filters, gasket retainer for the fuel tank cap gasket, and 4 new balls to repair the detents on the loader valve. All items they didn't have are in stock at the warehouse in Columbus, should be in in 2-3 days.

Turns out the seal kits were (by the loader serial number) the less expensive ones ($38 each vs $70+ apiece) and the prices were cheaper than I could have gotten them for elsewhere online.

And the parts guy said their service department will pop the cylinder gland nuts loose for me ...

Shop clean up so I can get the tractor in to remove the loader and work on it starts after I grab a shower and shave.

Still need to find a source for the bushings for the rod ends of the cylinders.
