We're getting storms and heavy rain at the house in Richmond now and it's getting close to here as well. 1-2" would be just right for the ranch. 5-6" rains .. just run off.

I took a 4 day break from TNT and, as expected .. one fatuous loser continues to spew his smarmy insults about me, to other members. For some reason . he just gets away with it?

Possibly Rust-Oleum 209460 Plastic Primer Spray?

There are several paints dedicated to plastic, if you scuff it with 600 grit and wipe it clean with solvent the correct plastic paint will adhere just fine without primer. Although I’m not saying don’t use it, but properly prepared and using proper paint, you don’t have to. I’ve done jet skis, golf carts and many other plastic products that way.
There is a plastic pre paint you can buy that’s clear and softens the surface to accept paint, but that’s mostly for small very flexible parts. I speak to this from 40 years as a body man/painter. I never stopped when I went in the upholstery business.

Heck of down pour last evening :shocked: enough so soft maple buds fell from the limbs.
Plans for today... trip to town for critter food,lawn mower shop for oil and filters,afternoon service 1 riding lawn mower,good chance for slow country ride since last evening weather was nasty.

53 here going to 70. Looks like a partly cloudy kind of day. Going to switch out the snow blower to the mower today at the apartment house then maybe try to get some raking done.

1st cup of coffee taste very good this morning. 48° with sunny skies this morning. Heading to 69° with mostly sunny skies. Got a couple of projects done yesterday. One was making an adapter to fit Shark and Dyson attachments to a very good Kenmore Vacuum. All the tools for it fit inside hose end. All other attachments I have. Hose end fits into attachment. Used lathe to make an adapter out of PVC. Need to sharpen mower blades and cut lawn today.
Blue birds are making a nest in bird house.

We planted sunflowers, squash, pumpkins, okra, corn and zinnia in the garden yesterday. Ted, I should have used your 5 gallon bucket - my knees are sore.

The bear came through last night. Coco woke us up when it got in the garbage can so I got a look at it...I had left one stinky bag in the plastic can, thinking I was gonna make a dump run, and now have to go out and clean up about 20 feet of scattered garbage...it looks like it loves take-out Tex-Mex containers...since the trail cam pic shows a big smile.

Hope Buppies is doing okay...haven't heard from him.

Morning to all,
Hoping those under the weather get well soon.
Quite the spring here this year went from using the coal fire to keep the chill out of the house two nights ago to the AC as it got stuffy and hot with no breeze yesterday.
Then the thunder storm rolled thru about 6 PM just before supper got finished in the oven, hooked up the generator to finish supper ate quite, then headed over to the farm spent a couple to almost 3 hours removing trees from fences and out of the roads to get to pastures and patch fences.
Drinking coffee and finishing breakfast now, then a quick run to farm supply store and back to repair fences.
Still on generator, no crew assigned and no restoration time yet.
But a beautiful sunny morning.
