32 calm clear and frost this morning...going to only 56.
The bear hit our bird feeders last night, destroying 2. I was able to fix 3, and he left some alone. Hadn't had any bear activity in 3 weeks, started leaving them out at night again. I could see his tracks in the frosty grass in places...almost wishing I had the snow you guys up north have so I could track him...not sure if he's coming from our woods or from across the road. Thomas, cool pix of those deer in your snow.
Ron, when I saw the thumbnails of your flowering tree, I thought you had snow, too, until I read your post. Glad George has some company, sorry he ran them off. I had a vulture follow my drone one time. I had to land it.
Rick, I don't have a
chipper, and instead I enjoy constructing brush piles for wildlife...building them using specs for rabbits, but often seem to be getting skunks and possums.
BEF, great historic bridge website. I looked up a couple in Virginia.
Mostly, eating out at a Mexican restaurant is first on our plans when things open up.
Rip, my wife went to Costco and Wegman's yesterday...found everything on her list, including all the paper products...Kirkland TP, rejoice! She was motivated to go to Costco because we were low on bird food, and their Audubon brand is the only kind she likes us to use...no wasted seed left on the ground, and full of sunflower seeds. I haven't been inside a store in 2 months, so asked her jokingly, "so, what do coronapeople look like?" She was quick with her reply..."they all have these funny looking attachments on their faces...different styles and colors."
While she was shopping, I stacked my cord of wood, and mowed all the grass hiking trails to keep the pollen off my socks and pants.
