You might be better off to replace it.

Don't think so...

Don, nice pic of the animals relaxing. Do you take whipper for runs at your mom's place? Or would she take off for your old place?

She stayed in the area but she finds the best smelling cow pie to roll in.

91˚F lots of sun. Lawn is mowed.

The nice thing that I liked about a BH and a water leak was that I was able to dig a deep hole net to the leak where the water could drain and I only had to work in a little mud.

The 6 week medical test delay for the neighbor was very bad.

My neighbor did give some advice about how to classify yourself. He said to tell the hospital you are the caregiver. Apparently caregivers have
priority over spouses.

RNG there are several seat tapes available on Amazon. I put a clear seat tape on my tractor seat and it did work. But that said on a practically new tractor I would buy a new seat. But the $10 sure is easier to swallow than the $350. My cracked iPad is $499 to replace the screen - I could just get some film. Randy will be your best source for a quality repair.

Came in about an hour ago ...

Started out the day finding out there was, in fact, no oil filter for the Kubota in inventory ... :( Will pick up one from NAPA tomorrow I guess.

Followed that with a quick trip down to the local Bellstores for a gallon of non-ethanol gas for Stihl blower and pole pruner -$2.99 ... which was a lot less than I paid for it the last time.

Fired up the van and pulled it in front of the garage and let it warm up while I had a couple of BLT's. After I was done eating I shut the van off and stuck a big piece of cardboard and an oil drain pan underneath and opened up the Fumoto drain valve and got the oil to a-drainin' ...

Then fueled up the blower and grabbed the rake and started to head up to work on the road. About 40' into that journey I thought "Why not grab some cardboard and see if that burn pile will light up ?" ... since we've managed to go at least 48 hours without any rain ...

So I turned around and headed back to the garage and grabbed a few old cardboard boxes and headed up to the BP. As luck would have it, it caught fairly easily and it wasn't long before we had a good fire going. After that I opened up the shop to let it air out a bit.

Then we worked on the the sloping part of the driveway. Got all the leaves cleaned out on the west side (and about 1/2 of the east side as well) and got more crusher run put down and graded out there.

Then did same for the upper part of the drive. I suspect I will need to get the LPGS finished up to get it really level though ...

About that time there was some discussion about what we'd be having for dinner so she headed down to the house to start on that, and I headed down to see about painting those birdhouses. Get three of them painted with two coats (along with treating all three pipe flange mounts with phosphoric acid to convert the rust) ... one coat before dinner and another one after dinner ... and after I finished up the oil change on the van and changed a couple light bulbs on the back patio. Used almost one can for the three.

I think they look pretty good but like Ron said the wood really sucks up the paint - was dry to the touch in less than an hour. Will have a look tomorrow in better light. Plan on using boiled linseed oil on the roofs.

Still have that one that needs cleaned and painted to do. Hope the weather cooperates so I can get that one done soon.

Wow! Talk about a rich line of information, Don!

Seat tape is more my style. This thing may be nearly new, but it'll never be a garage queen. My butt can't see it anyway, and I'd like to prevent something from crawling in there and setting up housekeeping. But maybe Randy has a better fix?

What iPad do you have? You might be able to find DIY instructions and parts at iFixIt.com to do the repair for a lot less than that! :crossfingers:

Good evening all. 68F for the start, mostly clear, windy. Some high thin clouds, windy through most of day, high temp was 89F. Watched online chapel service to start day, conserve energy after that. Napped and start working gps routing for Katy trail. The pic is the only tunnel for 240 miles
Covid update, Cooke unchanged. Montague unchanged, Grayson up to 41 confirmed cases

RNG have fun digging new trench hopefully not as exciting as yesterday.
Ted when you feel like that there is only one thing to do, nap! BTW more gravel will only make the withdrawal worse

Close, but no cigar, David. Not that I don't appreciate the effort, but the Kubota seat has a drain hole at the low spot, and the "exact replacement" does not. My delicate derriere has sat in far to many wet spots to sign up for any more. Or maybe that's TMI?:laughing:

Ahhhhh, missed the drain hole in the reference seat, my bad.
You mean there is there is a solution other than my wife’s comment, “you know your backside is wet” ?

Seriously though I bet those guys could find your replacement.

I did the clear vinyl patch on my Kioti. Took my time, did 2 layers, didn’t look bad. Your’s may be more serious.
