Happy anniversary BEF and wifey! Pray for good news on your family. Sorry to hear about the tragedy with the crazed man.

Almost forgot to mention.... THANK YOU! For all your prayers and positive thoughts.... My daughter got the Covid19 test results back.... NEGATIVE!
Needless to say, we are very relieved!

Love good news. My wifey is not much of a green thumb, but I have instilled a little bit of it in my daughter. Pines looks good, I'm guessing you'll keep them in the pots? They will grow to big to be planted there??? Maybe they'll grow tall and straight like pine trees do?

Here is the chupra coyote...turns out that he got caught on the trail cam about a half hour before I saw him in the field. Also a red fox for comparison, although it is closer to the camera, so not quite a true comparo.
Nice pics, that fox got him a rabbit! That coyote looks pathetic. You don't want mange around. I'd be considering PPE and a bonfire to burn it when expired.

357 lever action on the way finally should be here next week Taylor and company one half octagon barrel cannot wait to see it

My FIL has some nice lever action Marlin from back in the late '90's, with octagon barrel. He said it was worth about $900 and he took it to Cabela's to maybe do some swapping....after over an hour they came back and offered him about $350 for it. He said no way and they lost a good customer. They are nothing more than a pawn shop when it comes to buying/trading collectible guns.

Raining again this AM and chilly mid 45ish. So far about 2" in the last 3 days. I need to finish a drainage channel for the garden.

Yesterday I pulled about 5 hours on the riding mower, weed eater, small tractor. Still need to slash the fields. Put a new fuel pump and filter on the Deere riding mower. Much better.

Was outside when the cold front came through. Ended up being a 30 degree temp drop....and wet and windy. Lightning struck a place that handles oils and it caught fire.

Will probably work on something in the barn today.

Prayers for our team.

Ron, I usually make an omelet for Sunday morning.
Bought some redi-made home fries a while back, time to eat them and make room
in the freezer for something else.
I like to make them well done and crispy

We all know lot of cholesterol in eggs. Since I was just told my good cholesterol was not high enough, anyone
know how to improve that? More kale and salmon?
I was also told exercise helps.

Drinking second cup of an El Salvador coffee I roasted yesterday...very good even though it hasn't had the proper rest period.

Was eerily quiet out this morning at dawn listening for turkey gobbles. Usually it is very quiet, so I can hear the soft sound of jets passing above at 36,000 feet, or some of the lower ones at 14,000 feet heading to Dulles or Reagan or BWI. ...or hear the roar of certain truck tires on the highway over a mile away. This morning, nothing. Finally, when I went back out to get some firewood (this may be the last day I keep it burning this year) I heard a jet and looked up and saw it with its contrail...like Eric said, very few contrails to cloud up the sky.

Plan today is to split the firewood from the last 2 dead oaks I cut down yesterday. Should more than fill up the last empty pallet I have "made." Also have some more mowing to do.

Roy, enjoy that new gun. I might join you and do a bit of shooting today.

Great detail on the pictures wngsprd shooting range area cut in waiting for seed and straw and me to build bench

My FIL had a shooting range behind his house up a little hollow. Had sand filled 55 gal drums spaced at distances, and a table with bench seat.

Good morning.
then I heard a cry for help and went into the kitchen to see her with one leg dripping in olive oil and a 1 litre sized pool of it slowly creeping along the floor, leaving behind a trail containing dozens of sticky glass shards from where the bottle hit the tiled floor. Fortunately no cuts, :)

Not just any old hand lotion, but extra virgin glass infused hand lotion. Bet that is a best seller.

Good morning! 34 now and sunny. Supposed to get to 62 later and still be sunny.

Internet is still out. Not surprising. Getting by with the cell phone hot spot. Bill for phone/internet is due next week. I am going to pay and deduct entire internet and include a polite note explaining their system is unacceptably unreliable yet again. Last time, they gave me one months credit on the internet, this time, I am taking it up front. I have had this service for just under 3 years. I am, by my count, approaching 3 months of downtime.

Congrats to BEF and his bride!

With stories about shortages of ammo, I am quite happy we are well stocked with .38/.357. Plus plenty of supplies to load more. Making impulse buys when prices are low pays off!

Everyone stay safe out there

I'm in a conundrum. I'm waiting for the wifey to wake up and make coffee. I would make it, but the noise will wake the wifey (and she needs sleep) so I'll wait. Your's sounds good. How long do you normally rest it?

I have enough firewood to burn a few more fires...if I need it. But not much left. A fire would be nice about right now. I'll bet with all your activity and firewood chopping, you're in great shape.

I wanted to get the pond's perimeter slashed yesterday, but the rains forestalled that. My pond's edge gets really muddy and tricky to mow when it's wet.

I'm thankful to have a job, but it's been slow. I pray for my company to weather this virus. We have about 100 people.
