RNG, my terminology might be off referring to interface between pours. You are right concerning your joints, all our joints are dowelled with rebar and were cold by varying amounts of time.
Ive seen George’s boys start to deform late same day as an early pour or next morning. I tend to wait until next morning.

They don't do online purchases, at all. Seems odd for their age group (mid- to late-20s), but that's how they are. That's why I suggested they try less-traveled places.
Interestingly enough, it's the younger son who does the "work Mom" thing, and he does it all the time. She usually succumbs to it, but lately has been telling him no. He works his Grandma the same way. I'd be embarrassed to be asking people for money all the time, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. It's almost like he expects it.

We used to have some folks in neighborhood who didn’t own/drive cars, just hitchhiked. I asked why one day when I had picked them up. Got all the contributing to bad climate etc talk. when I let them off, I apologized that I wouldn’t be picking them up again as I didn’t want them contributing by proxy in my vehicle. If someone thinks online ordering is a risk for them why would they put someone they love at additional risk.

Good Lord... Not a care in the world.

To the Manor born...
Been like that since 6 weeks old. He’s a watchdog. Expects me and wife the watch over him.

Anybody use the Walmart app to order groceries. I made a list, now can’t find the list. Not intuitive at all on how to shop online for store pickup.

Turns out I needed the grocery app, not Walmart app. But no time slots available.

did some flower planting and then mowed the fields with the big Massey to avoid the dust.
Now inside for the duration.

anyone ever heard of the term "necker knob" for the steering wheel spinner?
Probably showing my age, but it was a date assist...

53ーF and light rain, going up to 71ー today. Rain is forecast to be intermittent through the rest of today and into tomorrow.

Need to arrange a chicken feed pick-up at Tractor Supply. Probably do that tomorrow morning.

Wife was texting with her oldest son in Texas this morning and said they can't find TP anywhere. He asked if we could ship some to them. So, she hopped on Amazon, and has some on the way. I suggested that they get outside of the San Marcos / San Antonio / Austin markets and try some of the smaller towns. That's been successful for us around here.

Beautiful scenery, Eric.

The son did order it online - he phoned it into Mom who is shipping it to him.

Yep, when we had bench seats instead of bucket seats, you could pull her over close and steer with just your left hand so the spinner made it easier to steer with one hand. Yep, been there, done that.

Supply run went without incident. Our PO is really small but there was a sneeze shield and disinfecting wipes at the front desk. Our Postmistress came out of the backroom looking like a surgeon. I got my beans and was able to disinfect the boxes and mail at the front desk. I got home and re-wiped everything down again with a disinfecting wipe including the truck interior and all the door handles and knobs, etc. in the house. As horrible as the interior is in the Tundra the back bed with tonneau cover makes for decent storage of nonperishables and decontamination of goods and packages.

David- The logic used by some of those entitled, elitist, new age tree huggers parallels some of the logic I listened to at the State Hospital. At least I got paid to listen.

Didn’t need a knob on steering wheel for that.
