Good morning!

Currently 64 with a planned high of 85.

Yesterday was really nice and mowed 2 yards, I can tell it this morning.

Ending a three day weekend and will rest today, chores around he house, etc.

Working normally everyday, only around my wife at home and grocery shopping once a week.

Needing a haircut is becoming an issue!

Good Luck at Food Lion, crazy here in my one horse town.

54 heading to 86.

Stayed cloudy and cool and moist all day yesterday until late afternoon.

Kyle, wonderful sentiments about your daughter.

Eric, looks like no food shortages for the lambs.

RNG, nice trip down memory lane. Neat how a word or image can bring back so many memories. I still use a thermos for coffee when I take an early morning road trip, like to go hunting or to the mountains.

Split the last load of oak and stacked. Plus brought a small amount up to the porch. I see at least one more woodburning period this season.

Got the string trimmer out for the first time this spring. We have a "patch" of yuccas on the side of the hill that I've allowed to grow and spread...but not enough room to get the bush hog or mower in between, so I trimmed up the dead grass...looks good now. Interesting juxtaposition...a field of desert-looking yuccas facing down to northern sugar maples.

41 and raining right now...looks like rain all day, so no outdoors activity. Well, I have a bottle of Jameson's Black Barrel, a case of Sprite, some lemons and a case of beer. A bunch of Blu Rays...and no need to go anywhere
I should be good for the day...

Drinking second cup of coffee. 47° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 61° clouds in am. Temperatures dropping to upper 30's in pm. Got over 2" of rain since yesterday. I think I have recovered from yesterday's search. She must have heard thunder that I did not hear. Did not see another person during search. Day 16 for stay at home.

Kyle, going to be good memories with daughter. My 2 sons still talk about our gardens. Thermos always remind me of the joke. A thermos keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. How do it know?

polarred21, :welcome: to Good Morning !!!

Drew, your plans for today sound like a full day.

Looking, interested in you exhaust project. Pictures?

David, good luck with taxes. Still waiting on my refund over 6 weeks later. When CV checks start coming out. Will I get 2018 or 2019 check using tax return? Or SSA :confused3: I am seeing reports of scams already. But It was on the internet. :confused2:

LS, you still getting HF catalogs? I have not gotten one in over a year.

Riptides, I see a trend here. Either no seat time or another tractor. :tractor:

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! 66 now, supposed to go to 70 later. Rained several times yesterday, had some thunder and lightning. Feels good to be able to open some windows and get fresh air through the house.

Spent a good part of yesterday working With a tech on the machine that caused issues at work this week. It is fixed now. Between multiple major hydraulic settings wrong, contamination in an orifice in a hydraulic motor control circuit, and a bad ground for a processor, it is fixed. Anyone think 15K ohms was a problem in the ground loop? I told the tech about 10 yesterday morning he had a bad ground, took him until about 4 to actually check. He seemed to want to do everything except what he was told to do. He even tried following the co-workers incorrect advice and admitted it did nothing.....doh! This was painful. I didn稚 expect the ground issue. I thought it was purely hydraulic. But until the hydraulic was right, the ground wasn稚 that critical. Sorry for babbling!

Well, no racing of any kind going on, here is a way to waste about 15 minutes, 1991 Springfield Mile. Drafting at its best

Mostly, how would I use cruise control in the trees, or at the end of the cut when I’m going 6-9 mph?

55 going to 76, but this cold thick fog has to burn off first.

Big bulk chicken pick up this morning, splitting with all the kids. Cornish hens, breasts and legs. The advantage of Ellen being a 40 year employee of Perdue.

Have a good one, prayers.

All the larger stationary tools are now on casters, wheel them out, use, put back in place. It all started when Rick put casters on the press... I did the same a few days later with my same press... worked so well that the bandsaw was next, then the movable workbench for the miter saw.

I actually planned out and drew the prints for another garage / workshop about twice as big. With the knee situation, the exuberant material costs, and the labor / time involved, we decided to hold on it for a while. I am not planning to have a lot of big projects, so what has sufficed for years will have to continue to do so for a few more.

Ted .. my shop tools are mobile. I built mobile bases, similar to the press, for my Ridgid 6" jointer and dust collector (highly modified HF unit).

I've got store bought HD mobile bases under table saw, Ridgid drill press, and 14" Rikon band saw.

I built a cabinets with drawers and HD casters, for my Dewalt 736 planer and router table.

Table saw outfeed / assembly table, flat files...

I need to build a mobile bases for my Hitachi jig saw and Delta mini lathe sometime.

I'll get some more pictures later. Most aren't on my iPad.

Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 6:00AM. Rain showers this morning with some sunshine during the afternoon hours. High 61F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Rain gurgling in the downspouts woke me an hour ago, and it sounds like it's stopped for a while now. Right about a half inch overnight, just like the weather guesser guessed. Hope they're right about the coming week, too; dry and warm, with highs in the low 80s by next weekend.

Welcome polarred21! Always room for one more around this digital campfire...

I like the G0 and PowerAid diet drinks on hot days, too, Drew. I think they work better than water to keep the cramps away, at least for me.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink, Rich.:duh:

Glad you were able to find Muffin so quickly, Ron. Years ago Buddy, my Mom's Boston Terrier wandered off on a winter's day, another blind dog. They found him almost a week later, under a bush in a neighbor's yard. Cold but otherwise OK. That was the last of the Bostons she had, and her first was named Muffin, too.

Nice fat federal tax refund on the way, thanks to the solar tax credit. But I owed the state enough to incur a small penalty, which they applied and collected only two days after I filed. Gotta keep that bullet train funded, I guess. Then a couple days after that, they pushed the filing deadline out to what, July?:confused3::irked:

Greased the FEL and backhoe yesterday morning, but only got three buckets of gravel spread before the rain made the hillside too wet for safety.

Dug out a couple handyman books to see what they had to say about concrete, and other than mixing in a bit too much water the last time around, it looks like what I have planned for the generator pad will work out fine. And it appears that Mother Nature will cooperate as well with some nice weather.

I can't remember when I purchased the digital thermometer I've been using, but the battery warning indicator started flashing yesterday. I keep a stock of batteries on hand, but didn't have one for this one, so it was off to Amazon. It only takes one battery, a tiny LM41, but to get anything in less than two weeks, I had to buy 80 of them, for only five bux more than a pair would have cost.:confused2: So if any of you could use a few LM41 batteries, lemme know...

Still only five CoVid-19 cases in the county, but totals in the state and the nation are really ramping up. Like watching a train wreck, and not being able to do much about it other than stay home out of the way.

Also ordered some steel and wedge anchors for the propane tank, as the pads for it should be strong enough to use in the coming week. Not sure if the propane company is still working, though, but I'll try and text them tomorrow to find out.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend!
