L4N the tank is 2000 gallons more than enough for what we do especially tacking streets and parking lots. Prime and double seal jobs normally will not exceed that quantity but if they do a tanker is on site for on site loading

Have to work to keep it clean Ron

A mostly cloudy 35ºF for today’s low temperature; a mostly cloudy 36ºF presently; and I anticipate a sunny afternoon with the high temperature in the low 40ºF’s. A good day for the dump run and bring some firewood indoors before the slop weather begins tomorrow night. The NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch for this pending system(s). It should be interesting.

RonJH- That reads like a really nice birding setup. Nice zoom  I look forward to seeing more of your pictures.

RNG- I really enjoy Air & Space museums. We’ve been to the one at Cape Caneral and Washington DC. The Space Shuttle experience is really  Thanks for sharing. It reads like you are now very well prepped for your journeys. I wish safe travels and a safe return home. Happy New Years.

Kyle- Nice job on your Son’s frame.

“… Strange winter so far or lack there of”- Buppies. I agree. I hope that it’s not the new “normal.” I still have snow/icepack here. It’s still ~ 4” - 6” in open areas and 6” - 8” in my woods. I have not needed the crampons nor Yaktrax® yet. I like your new “toy”.

Eric- Now I can understand where all BEF’s energy evolves; it wasn’t the caffeine. ;) And thanks for the laugh. :D

Bill- It reads like a productive day even with your StepSon’s assistance.

RonJH- Good luck with the exercise plan. My daily schedule of activities did not help with weight loss. I have been in Fitbit mode since I started wearing it = logging every calorie consumed and every calorie expended which motivates me to keep moving and not snack at night. This unit is reading my sleep patterns cycles.

Drew- Sorry to read about your night.

Billy- Sorry to read about your and Coco’s night activities and your unwanted visitor.

I hope that everyone who enjoys coffee has their cup of Joe the way they like it and everyone coffee lover or not has a great day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

was on my feet too much yesterday and had awful leg cramps again. Going to drink extra water at dinner and see if that helps. I stopped taking statins due to cramps so they aren't the problem any more.

About 6 months ago I stopped statins also to see if aches would be less after strenuous work. They were not. My LDL started creeping up to 90, the danger zone, so I started taking them again. Just expect your body not to respond like it did 10 years ago and if you play you pay.

Eric that field looks like my field did, it was always full of gophers. They gave Gray2 entertainment when they got close to the house. He would sit for hours waiting for them to push dirt out and would snag them and eat them except for the gopher guts - there must be some truth to that kid's song.

Good morning! 63˚F rain day and a cold front coming this afternoon. Gardens on hold till next week, almost done.
Drew I had to recover 4 days (neck pains) after pushing 30 wheelbarrows full of dirt were the tractor could not go. Good to go again when weather clears.
RNG nice vacations pics.
Buppies, make sure you clean all the splashed oil off that new truck after each use.

Good morning to all! Low was 24 last night, we got about an inch of snow, maybe a few flurries today. Tomorrow night will drop into the single digits...

Drew, sorry to hear about the leg cramps. I have heard that molasses apparently helps, has to be the dark kind. I have never tried using it. When I experience leg cramps, they will only be for a day, maybe 2.

Buppies, nice truck! You should start a contest for guessing when the first black smudge will get on it..... my guess is Monday if you guys are working, if not by Thursday....

Kyle, nice work on the frame, it will look very good in gloss black!

Eric, I think some of your critters have tunneled too deep.... they ended up over here! They are all commuting over here! the big house yard (about an acre) has more than I have seen for the last 15 yrs. Now I know why the owl and hawk have been hanging around !

Billy, hope the fella understands the talk you had with him and it does not become a nuisance problem. Nice way to handle it!

LFN, glad to hear that the day went well for you yesterday! Maybe stepson has a New Years resolution?

This is the last full day the relatives will be here, tomorrow afternoon they fly back East. MIL will go back up to CO tomorrow night.

All in all, it was a great reunion, they still have a few more bugs to work out in their relationships, but this was fantastic to “ watch from the outside “. The wifey ‘ s family hold grudges for a long, long, time...

Everyone have a great weekend! Prayers sent.

Good morning, a mild 9C/48F here, not much firewood needed today.

Nice toy Bups !

Yes, that's him. He reckoned the worst tasting were bluebottles and moles. That's a real shame as moles have just exceeded my live-and-let-live threshold, this morning I counted 421 mole hills in this little 5 acre field.

 Kyle, we need to do something to keep BEF off the speed, there must be a better way to forget his 2019 troubles than resorting to amphetamines

So, 420 is the L&LL limit?

No, we need BEF up to speed, just short of amphetamines.

Ron, frame is black. Tank and fenders are silver.

Here is a pristine one....Ours is going back with out lights, turn signals, etc. Stripped down for spills....

Wng, glad you handled the poacher with no extreme drama.

Travelling south to visit mom and some friends.

Have a great day all.

Prayers.

Since I didn't make it to the barbershop yesterday, I guess I'll give it a try today. I also need to finish assembling a coat rack...started yesterday, but one piece was giving me fits...I stopped in frustration. We'll see if the wifey wants to do some shopping today too

Haircut...DONE!
Coat rack...DONE!!
Time for a beer!

It's nice to hear you having fun Randy.
I didn't have much fun this morning because my helper never showed, meanwhile I had cut/lopped off a large amount of brush that all had to be hauled off by hand, and now I was the one making twenty trips lugging brush. Came in soaked in sweat and not exactly staying off my feet as planned...
So with a dry set of clothes on and all the leaves out of my hair, going to cook some black bean burgers for lunch and rest a bit. Should hit 73 here today, lovely out.

Buppies, nice rig, and yes it does some nice advertising for you. How do you clean out the tank in between uses?
glad to hear your Ram is doing nicely too. May all of its computer brains remain sane for you.
