I made another, probably my last, batch of kosher dill pickles this PM. The garden is dead excepting the herbs. Now it’s time to pick all the squash laying around.

Fantastic picture. I don't know how you guys get such great sunrise and sunset pictures with iPhones. Mine always seem to come out either too bright or too dark. I can never capture the true color like that.

Got garden pond cleaned and covered. Then opened animal barn big door. To put stuff away. Top hinge bolts gave way. Before I could grab door a wind gust caught door and laid it flat on ground. Lower hinge was twisted 90°. Got door back in place and couple screws in place to hold hinge until I get time to do proper repairs.
Went to Menards to get new hinge and other items. Returned and let dogs out. Sassy seen the Sandhill Cranes again. Chased them all the way out to back field. Both the Cranes and Sassy can run faster and farther than I can. You can see the Cranes on right side of picture.

The HR call went ok. They just wanted to let me know that until LTD gets approved that I’m in a LWOP status , which I understand. And since I’m not getting paid, how I will be paying for my health insurance. I definitely want to keep that.

She also said not getting my STD was a goof up do to the merger. Will get it next pay period.

I know the lady. She was excited when I told her I should be back soon.

I went to my grandsons baseball game last night, his skills at 7 are amazing.

With a view like that, you probably liked having an excuse to walk back there.

I took this pic the other morning while waiting on the stock tanks to fill. We'd had some rain the night before and there was fog hanging low to the ground as the sun was coming up. Never had seen a sunrise quite like it before so I snapped the pic with my iphone.
