JB, can't beat a bit of tractor therapy  As a professional experienced into the workings of the mind, have you ever been able to work out why tractors and ride on mowers are so addictive ? Even when physically incapacitated, normally sane people will drag themselves onto their machinery just to get another high, while others risk heat exhaustion and some take to the slopes in less than perfect conditions.

Over the years a few have taken desperate measures to cut out tractors from their lives, selling up and moving to tractor rehabilitation communities, but as we have seen with Don, it is all too easy to regress. There ought to be a place where we can regularly meet up and take it in turns to admit "My name is xxxx and I am a tractor addict".

Oh, Irv has already built that place - this Good morning thread !!!

Oh my, I did not realize I was a tractor addict until Eric pointed it out. The first few months after the move I kept following tractors to see where they were parked - I was stalking the tractors. I even joined two clubs and three SIGs thinking that was the secrete to seat time. It was, I'm Txdon and I am a tractor addict.

haha, Don has it so bad, he actually was willing to change brands to get some seat time.....

Yup. Fall rains are here for sure, L4N. I have been wanting to do some more work on the parts of the boat hosted do not have new shingles yet, but it makes it difficult when the temperatures go down to close to freezing and it rains during the day. But, the leaves sure have been colourful over the last week or two!

Time for coffee and more leftover turkey. Daughter’s graduation Wednesday - hope the rain tapers off!

Nice photos. Congrats to Daughter!

Happy birthday from Texas to BEF's son. Hope y'all have a rooting tootin good time.

Also, in case I'm late tomorrow, Randy please tell Ellen Happy Birthday early rather than belated.

Farmer, she keeps adding to the list of things that provoke her. We've been working on some meds, which seem to help at times. We just have to remember how bad it was 6 months ago prior to meds.

And thank all of you guyz for your thoughts and prayers for her. Autism is a &#@**(^^%%$$$&*&*%^*&$!!!

This is my favorite place online too, Paul. Because of the people here. So many talents....and beautiful yards. :)

Hawkeye, hope your back survived the young 'uns. prayers for you.

Prayers for Randy, LS, J, Bupps, BEF, Ron, Gary, Wng's family and all our team.

Yep, they do add up. I bet you've had many enjoyable hours using those...and maybe a few frustrating hours getting them on and off :) .

Good Morning. It's 78° and humid this morning. Forecast says 94° this afternoon ..... the endless summer. Good news is a front is coming and tomorrow's high is supposed to be just 69°. Woo Hoo! Maybe some rain as well.

Astros in the Bronx and Cole .... gets the ball!

Not sure if it's our 3+ month drought but, I've seen way fewer snakes than in past years.

Hogs came to visit Sunday night so, I started fixing the damage yesterday. We installed hog fence on entire ranch perimeter fencing so, the only are that gets damaged is between our front fence and our road.

I like Fluid Film. When I remove a PTO powered implement I clean the PTO shaft on the tractor, spray it with Fluid Film, and put the cover over it. I do the same with the implement side. Before I recouple, I clean both sides with compressed air and a shot of FF.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Prayers to all.

I do not see any Ad's on my computer, iPad or iPhone when on TBN. At this time Ad Blocker shows 320 blocked items for TBN.

Same here, Ron. No ads on laptops, iPhone, or iPad when using AdBlock Plus.

But I might have to turn it off for TBN; I can't even imagine how someone wearing a burka could be "scantily clothed".:confused2::laughing:

aha, But I have paid amends by buying an orange truck. The hiking club now has access to a Kubota utility vehicle, it’s neat how the large dump bed can transform to a forward facing seat with a small bed.

Good idea, Rick! I haven't been using Fluid Film long enough to be sure, but from what I've read, it's a great preservative. Used after penetrating oil, which is better for getting things broken loose and working again, FF should keep them from getting stuck in the first place. I use a light grease on the PTO shaft, and have never had issues with corrosion there. Now if I could just figure out a way to cover the couplers on the ends of the PTO shafts...:confused3:

My name is a Rick and I'm addicted to blue air conditioned tractors and grapples. I used to have an orange one but ..... I got over it.
