Thanks! Lovely drive up from Toronto today. Mostly still green in town, then more and more colour as I headed North. Had to stop and get new brakes and rotors front and back for the F150 first. Over $1K - ouch!

That’s an adventure the kids will always remember.

The GDO will go up in safe mode, ie lift head end with a rope or ratchet strap over the truss, then bolt up the other end. Then the hard part.

My GDO bit the dust. Genie screw drive, and the screw got so hard to turn that the motor could not handle it. I pulled it out and greased up the whole thing, and then put it back in, but it is still too hard to turn. Or maybe the powerhead has simply lost its oomph. Anyone ever have this problem?

This is genie screw drive. Guess ill find out.

Don, any chance of a clogged filter somewhere?
No experience with ice makers but on my hot water heaters there is a fine sediment screen on the inlet that prevents operation when the pressure drops due to partial obstruction.

No rain this morning and only an odd shower due throughout the day. Time to give the chainsaws a bit of exercise.

The tups arrived yesterday. If the ladies are in the mood, next years lambs will be set to arrive in March. Winter will be over before we know it.
