68°F and no rain.

Spent some time in town and picked up most of the material for my planned sunshade. Will have to tweak plans a bit as 21/3x11/2 alum wasn’t available and had to settle for 2x11/2.
Made 2 stops to price rotary cutters $1300 for a 60” Countryline, over $3000 for the Kubota/LandPride. Ouch!!
Guess my Rhino was a bargain less than 600 in 2005. I might be practicing my welding.

Wife has medical appointment in town later and errands.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Drank 8 plus cups of coffee this morning. Betty, my wife for 57 years passed to a better place this morning.

Ron, a better and more peaceful place and may God grant you peace and rest. Prayers for you and your family.

a close friend has a second home in Delray Beach, just off the Intracoastal.
Map for storm shows hurricane going over his head.
Wunderground predicts 6 inches of rain and 60mph winds.
I bet that changes but South Florida is used to this.
Recently transplanted Northerners are not. Have friends on both coasts, keenly interested
in where this bad weather is going. I'll be taking my rv down to visit them on both coasts this winter so hope they make
out alright. Cat 4 is not 60mph...

I sat on my boat while a big Hatteras down the dock recorded a wind speed of 113 mph.
Never again would I stay onboard during a hurricane,
even though our marina was a hurricane hole, and where all the marine police
hid in a storm.

Did I hear it? Listen.
Weathermen dropping bombs...revving up their engines
to strafe us with overwrought language
And here they come.

I can only imagine how tough that is, but as you said, she's now in a better place.

Good morning 64 now heading to the 80's
Don in my hunt for a replacement Vehicle I look at the new ranger, although to small for my dogs to fit in it is a nice looking truck.
Randy good luck at the Cardiologist
Drew I had to just learn to live with the ringing in my ears sometime worse than others but for the most part I'm good until my wife turns the TV or Radio down and then all I hear is the ringing lol. She also accuses me of selective hearing.
BEF hope you are doing well.
Have a great day

BIL went to hearing Dr a couple months ago. Being a former airline mechanic I’m sure he has tinnitus as well.
Dr told him he had two ranges of difficulty, associated with women speaking and children. He drives a local school bus.
Luckily his GF was there and heard the Dr’s report.

Yesterday, we had a new sofa and two new recliners delivered. The delivery service just left those big cardboard boxes out by where the garbage is usually picked up. And the forecast today called for a 20% chance of rain. So before daylight, I got those big boxes and cut them up so the recycling truck will take the cardboard Monday, and I stacked the cardboard in the garage for the time being. Then since the yard hadn't been mowed in a week and was in dire need of mowing, I did that. And that 20% chance of rain hit here with a vengeance about 2 p.m., dumped a half inch in 10-15 minutes and then slowed to a very light rain. And the NWS upped the chance of rain to 40%. Sure glad I got that cardboard in, and got the yard mowed, edged, and trimmed this morning.
