Good morning! It feels cool with the breeze 80˚F heading to 101˚F.

Drew my A also leaked oil but only a bit when it when shut off. With the crank there was never a time I could not start it even with the battery dead. Good luck on the sale. I sold mine to wife's brother who can't drive it but bought it for his kids since it was their Great-grandpa's.

Drew, Thanks for including us all in the Flowers for Randy. When you come down to Texas you will need to stop by to compare retirement resorts. I know you are ending up North but. . . .

Randy, you need to get better so you can go on that honeymoon.

Rick, the burn ban for our county went into effect Aug. 6th.

Stealing from Thomas:
Feed (and walk) the critters and a slow roll to the gardens.

Drew, watched video of a dynamax class B+ rv on mercades chassis with dry bath. No slides. Interesting.

74 this morning and headed to 88 today. HI 82 headed to 97.

Drew thanks for sending the arrangement to Randy. Stop by lunch is on me.

Will be working on trees today. Now I’m about 30 behind. Woods are yielding more trees than we had originally thought. Wouldn’t surprise me if I don’t have a couple of tri-axle loads waiting on me.

Good Morning!!!! 65F @ 7:15AM. A mix of clouds and sun. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 84F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

A lonely fox just outside the open bedroom slider started barking for company at about 2:30 this morning. Oh well, I had to pee anyway.:confused3:

Hopefully your kindness will payoff in a smile and some lifted spirits for Randy, Drew. Thanks for including us all, a beer and an electrical hookup are waiting for you if your new motorhome ever makes it out this far. Hopefully your journey won't last ten years as did Eric's Seep driver!:confused2:

Sounds like you'll have lumber and firewood galore by this winter, Farmer. Hope it continues to go smoothly for you and your operator.

Spent yesterday in zombie land; that antihistamine really wiped me out. Still managed to finish the paint on the last eve, putting that project to bed. Then just puttered around the garage cleaning and putting tools away, making one small adjustment to the motorcycle, and washing out the bearings on the Vanagon jack shafts one last time. Gonna see if I can get them installed again in the next day or so to get that bench space back.

A few weeks ago the UPS web site stopped working for package tracking, so when I got an email alerting me to the arrival of a shipment requiring a signature, I had to call when it didn't arrive. Ended up with an Engilish as a second language person on the other end, who was very hard to understand and who didn't seem to understand my questions. That person told me the package would arrive yesterday, so the gate was open all day. Around 4PM a knock on the door announced the arrival of not the UPS man, but another trucker that had a box with Tim Smith's whiskeys inside. It too required a signature, but the company hadn't bothered to send me notice to have the gate open. Happy coincidence it was, as the driver had come all the way from Sacramento, two hours south, to make the delivery. The booze was very good, too, a rye, a whiskey, and a Bourbon. It had to be aged using the electrical process because he's only been making it a year. But you'd never know it from the flavor and smoothness. A new email from UPS arrived last night saying delivery of the other package had been rescheduled for next Thursday, so I'll have to call the shipper and ask for it to be held in Chico, where it is now, for me to pick up while I'm in town that day.

Hope everyone's weekend gets off to a great start!

Good morning. Lots of rain showers coming our way today and winds in the 40s. If I'm lucky I should just be able to get around the sheep before it arrives.
That is a kind gesture Drew.
I would certainly buy you a beer, but that would be some serious GPS glitch to see you come our way :)

Reminds me of the couple who went around the world in an amphibious jeep Amphibious Jeep around the world: Classic 4x4

Maybe Drew needs a Jeep like that.. or not. Very interesting story. Can't imagine crossing any body of water in one of those. If only he had a more modern engine to tackle the chore.....and about 40 foot longer waterline...

Nice photo Ron, and more prayers for Betty.

Randy, prayers for you, your family, and your medical team.

BEF, I woke up with a back ache and immediately thought of you, and prayed.

Drew, hope you can get near what you want for your A.

Don, the windmill area looks nice.

Farmer, good luck getting all those trees loaded.

Hope you all have a great day.

The weather pattern of weekends with lower humidity and morning temps in the. upper 40ºF’s/lower 50ºF’s continues and has made for decent sleeping when Brogen is not agitated and comfortable outdoor morning activities, Not much outdoor activity on my part other than lawn mowing, string trimming, and puttering around in the garden. :embarrassed: For a change in pace today I decided to start cleaning out the Tundra from all the St. Bernard fur, caked drool, etc. after the dump run,

I got the results of my recent bloodworm today: A1C = 6.2 (good) and my cholesterol was ~ borderline high. I am resistant to starting statins. I think that it is time to restart healthier dietary practices and food choices.

After last week’s events I decided to take a break from media including social media. Media is part of the problem as noted. There are no easy fixes.

BEF- It reads like you are on the path to recovery even with the setbacks. I hope the progress continues

Randy- My continued + thoughts, wishes, and prayers. I look forward to seeing you posting again.

DABSGT- Thanks for sharing your vacation pictures.

Buppies- Congratulations on the new DIL. I wish your Son and his bride the best.

RonJH- I am sorry to read about Betty’s declining health. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for your Wife and you.

Kyle- I am sorry to read about your Aunt.

Jim- I like your attitude. During my first BOOP episode. I was billed for services never rendered by doctors I do not remember seeing, It took a while to get things straightened out.

Drew- There should be more individuals like you in this world.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

good to sit down.
Successful day, happy new owner of Farmall, out the lane for full price cash.
He first started to ask for 300 less but when I told him what I had spent on it, it was never mind,
you deserve what you are asking...

And Toppop's flowers made it and I got a nice thank you from him. All good.

now back to watching The Wire and doing absolutely nothing

Congrats Drew,
Hope to have my Kioti ready for sale next weekend, but waiting on some plastic on order from MIE and I hope to get a bit more backhoe time before I take it off. Meanwhile I have the seat totally removed and rehabbing, guess you should move adjustments periodically so they don’t freeze, battery is dated 2011 so will put in new one. Awfully tempting to ask the autobody guy down the street how much to repaint and just keep it.
