I just cashed my costco rebate check yesterday. Usually i wait to use it on a larger purchase, but the cashier said most people just cash the whole thing, so they get more rebate by charging instead of paying with the rebate.
Wish i was out mowing. Hate wasting my leave being sick. Cant get much done.
I did get my photo files updated on the computer, with dates and locations. Over 800 pics this yr already.

Lynn, prayers for the little girl, very sad she has to go through this, hope she makes it.
My brother's wife almost died from a small cut on hand in the garden at home. 3 days in intensive care.
Sepsis is bad news.
Decided to stay in this afternoon after working too hard yesterday and running around this morning.
Sign on dermatology office: Closed on Wednesdays.
Spent fair amount of time calling and then going online with PA Turnpike protesting a lost ticket/no ticket issue
where I was charged for entire length of turnpike.
Should be interesting to see what I get in the mail next.
Paying some big bills, long term care insurance, which just went up 30 percent after staying the same for 15 years.
Policy is through Mass Mutual, a true mutual company where policyholders own company, so kind of a guarantee they are only charging
the minimum they have to. Not many true mutuals left anymore, they convert to stock companies and lots of senior management goes home rich.
But the way I'm falling apart, that's a bill I have no problem paying.
Thunderstorms popping up all around. I just know if I go out and get started on something I'm going to get wet.
David/Sodamo, your gas pipe saga shows a lot of hard work and determination. Even if you did do it in flip flops...
When it is all done and cleaned up, time for you to enjoy some afternoon naps.

Good evening all. 74F this morning, overcast, calm wind. Rain was the forecast for the day, actually saw sunshine this afternoon, light wind and high temp of 85F. Bike ride first thing this morning, then bike prep and trip prep this afternoon along with a nap 
. Got most of the stuff on the list together, bike maintenance is done ( chain was nasty ). Just have to pack up and go, need to hit road by 2PM 5 hour dive to wichita, then 5 hour drive to Goodland, and short ride Friday. Will have 500+ miles by week from Saturday.

Drew, good luck sorting your tractor fleet, hope it becomes more enjoyable to continue the gardening.

Good morning to all on the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
BEF, please say thanks again to your dad for the part he played. Without him and the sacrifices of many of his generation, we would all have been brought up in a very different world.
