Lynn- Thanks for sharing a picture of real mountains, bike, and Wifey; or much safer and PC, Wifey, bike, and real mountains.

Bill- In warmer weather I/We like hanging out on the porch closest to that turn and watch the action. I've taken that turn a few times in both my Datsun 510 and my Honda CRXSi. I preferred the RWD Datsun;). I do not mind playing in the rain; working in it is an other matter. I'm going; I'm going whining and complaining.

Jay, those were beautiful pics. I would love to go motorcycling around there when the temps are warm.

Good Morning. It's 71°F here this morning and overcast. The weather prognosticators are saying 86°F this afternoon and 50% chance of rain overnight.

Found this picture of David's LP line boring success! Woo Hoo!

Saw first hummingbird yesterday evening. A single and he (?) spent a bit of time at our feeder. It took a good two weeks for them to find the feeder, when I first put it up last year.

Spent yesterday, in one of our pastures, mowing down wild flowers (weeds with good PR), with the New Holland and rotary cutter yesterday. Temp got to up 87°F and 95%+ humidity so ....... cab and A/C was nice. Made a note of several more trees needing trimming of lower limbs to get better access with either tractor. The New Holland is almost 9' to top of the cab. I've found that the live oaks, I've trimmed up to get closer access with tractors, get good grass growing under them within a year of trimming.

Hope everyone has an excellent Friday.

Prayers to all.

I have one of those bits for my Dewalt cordless drill. lol

How Aldi, a brutally efficient grocery chain, is beating Walmart on low prices

interesting article about new German Aldi chain of supermarkets we've talked about here before.

Little strange typing...left hand is half again bigger than right, blown up like Gumbi Bear, thank you Mr Bee, whatever big sucker
you were, who stung my left middle finger about 9am this morning while I was pulling weeds in the potato field.
Man did that hurt, there was a hole left in me after washing it off and
putting on 1 percent cortisone cream, which did absolutely nothing.

This is what happened two years ago when I wound up with an Epi pen, which
is at the ready, but this time I took some leftover prescription Benadryl pills at lunch and as expected slept all afternoon. now I'm up with a hand that itches in about a thousand places but as it did before, I just have to wait it out. Last time when the swelling went past my wrist into my forearm I went to the hospital.
This time I'm keeping an eye on it here. Never even saw the bee, and I get stung and bitten by all kinds of insects, but once in a while it must be a
venom packed one.

I can only imagine what it must feel like for someone with a severe bee allergy to get stung in the neck.
That's when I'd be calling 911 and jabbing myself with that EpiPen, because if my neck got as swollen as my hand is right now, I couldn't breath.
I would like to get in the hot tub after working hard with volunteers this morning, but I think heat will aggravate the swelling.
Guess something cold would be a better idea. Going to crush some ice in the fridge, always sounds like world war three going on in there,
and try that approach in a baggy. At least it just itches and doesn't hurt.

I think I'm going to just lop those weed tops off now in the potato field instead of sticking my hand down inside the plant,

I believe it is officially the weekend.

Makes you wonder where the best place is to live if you're a motorcyclist....

I'd say anywhere that has high mountain passes. When it's hot you can go up high and ride. Always nice in the high passes temp wise.

Here's a picture at the top of the Nebo loop in Utah. My wife would kill me if she new I posted a picture of her.

I've got the 14 Ultra Limited with the twin cooled, liquid cooled head.
It does stay noticeably cooler, or at least less hot
