Mowed and sprayed yesterday, would have sprayed more but little tractor low fuel light came on and my cans were empty, so I know one job today.

Two grandsons arrived last night, son and DIL heading to NYC for some musical opening, then back here tomorrow for son in laws 40th birthday party.
We have that party plus Ellen’s alumni dinner tomorrow. I’m ready for a weekend off!
Have good day and God bless.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!

A rainy, foggy, misty 45ºF morning low temp; 46ºF presently conditions unchanged; a little warmer and wetter later today with possible T-storms tonight. A good day to waste going to the dentist. I do not see much chance for sun until briefly maybe next week around here.

RNG- You earned some sleep. I hope you have a stress free, relaxing weekend or at least a manageable one with some decent, restful sleep scheduled.

…. Need to put all 4 new tire/wheel on lawnmower. That may be enough. Front are easy. Rear can be a pain. Because they are held on with a snap ring- RonJH. I have a similar destiny. My JD has those snap rings on the front, and if I remember correctly a “key/pin?” and split ring on the back. I still need to order those inner tubes for the rears.

Andrew- Good luck with the A/C challenges. Was there really life before hot glue, epoxy, and/or zipties?

Kyle- I wish you a speedy recovery and take care of yourself.

David and Sophie- I ope the LP is flowing as expected with no "light show" entertainment for all your guests and good luck with this weekend's potluck dinners.

I hope everyone has a decent end to the workweek and a pain free, stress free weekend were every project goes successfully as planned.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

I got my 1 and only "Get Out of Jail Free Pass" from the Chief of Police of my home town after passing a "Hot Rod Harriet" Blue Hair Q-Tip ~ 90mph who would floor it on the very rare straight sections and 35MPH through every :censored: curve on the last leg of a long journey from Buffalo, NY. He was approaching at the time of my pass. I just pulled over and waited. He never had to turn on the "Blues." He actually was surprised to see me driving. I never speed through the Hilltowns around here.

RonJH- Thanks for the link.. I will order them today.

jbrumberg-- on the two wheel tractor I use for fighting brush, I converted the wheels to be tubeless (lots of black goop around the rims) and then filled them up with something from England called PuntureSafe. I think its a copy (they would say improvement) of ultraseal. That was last September, I went and mowed in a field of blackthorn-- 2.5 acres, over the winter used it for snowblowing, and just a few weeks ago noticed among all the small thorns sticking out one monster thorn. So I took a video of the removal and subsequent plugging, needless to say I'm quite pleased that the stuff still works after half a year of being in the tire: Shared album - Andrew Ray - Google Photos

Andrew- That was one impressive thorn. I tried a couple aerosol tire sealants and was not impressed with the results. I have two tires on my utility cart that are leaking, I will research ultrseal. Thanks. I have lots of brambles in my l6 acres of lower field; nothing there compares to your blackthorn.

It's not to bad this morning 38° and partly cloudy. Yesterday was mostly sunny with a cool wind and in the low 60's. They are saying that today will be windy with a chance of thunderstorms and high in the mid 60's.

A neighbor said he opened up the road to the top of the hill yesterday. I might go for a ride and see how much snow is still up there. He said it took him most of the day to get it done. A another neighbor is trying to sale his place on top and someone is wanting to see it.

Hope everyone has a good start to the weekend.
CWB.
