Wifey thanks everyone for all the + wishes. She switched over to a Medicare Advantage Plan this month; ~ $500(USD) less in monthly health insurance premiums w/o changing her healthcare insurance provider.

I actually got some seat time on the NH moving some wood chips around the place and puttered around outside today; everywhere I look I see a project. Mr. Knee and Mr. Ankle are setting the pace and activity; some activities I realistically just cannot do yet. The last thing I want is more PT and more lost time. Yesterday I went to both TSC and HD looking for replacement tires for my JD D139 rider mower. HD was a joke, TSC at least had the size I need for the front tires. I need to price out ordering the rear tires on the internet or order them online through either HD or TSC.

A slow moving, but decent day. I hope everyone else had a day w/o issues.

I found the best deals on tires from my mower on EBAY and Amazon. Ended up buying tires from Amazon. Some China tires were cheaper. But chose to buy an American brand name.

They bought our company to grow in the market we are in. We will stay put, no danger of moving us. The company changed their focus a couple yrs ago and we are a nice nitch for them. they are much larger than us, they want to grow our work.

Got some mowing in, then started raining now, just as it was getting too dark. Got 2/3 done. Grass got really tall in just over a week. Need new blades.

Good evening all. 65F this morning, overcast, calm wind. Wind was up and down, occasional peeks of sunshine in afternoon, and high temp of 74F. woke up at 4AM :mur: and did not get anything done:ashamedid do tomorrows bike ride today due to rain forecast for tomorrow. Have to send GPS back to Garmin, blue tooth pairing with phone not correct, and they think it is the unit, so breaking back out the old gps until replacement gets here. Also went over to stepdaughters's to help load the couches she sold, and a nice nap. Also did get caught up, you all have been busy.
Buckey, if you get drug down to Dallas I am close, stop by for visit:thumbsup:
Don, 150 miles in on day may not be that big of deal, under the right conditions, flat and tail wind can cover 200+ mile normal for them would be 75 or 80.

32 °F and going to a high of 52. Wind NNW 16 gusting to 25 mph. 40% chance of flurries, somehow I cannot see that happening.

The Jeep was all fixed up on Thursday. I didn't get the message until around 7 Thursday evening, so it sat until yesterday. It is still at the garage, but at least it is fixed and paid for ($378.oo) all in.

I have an appointment at the same garage for the Dodge on the 2nd of May. Unless I need the M101CDN2 trailer before the 2nd, then the Jeep can just sit.

All 4 chrome rims are polished up and look good!

I just have the cargo carrier rails to do now.
That is it for me today.

Good morning! 67˚F raining, looks like a slow rain all day great for the fertilized lawn.

It seems each vehicle I own always gets to go back to the dealer for a little warranty work. On the Subaru it was the rear door latch now on the Kia it's the smart cruise. They fixed it and will be delivering it back to me this morning.

I have my first tomato, the plants are really looking good. The soil prep this Spring is paying off - I tilled in a half yard of mushroom compost and decomposed manure and 4 bags of acid compost. Our well water is very alkaline and most plants do best in slightly acidic soil. We are eating 1/2 pound collards about every 3 days and the 3 plants are producing quicker than we can eat them. I'm still waiting for the first flower on the potatoes.

More Wood shop classes are coming up an I'm allowed to sign up for four at a time so I still need to pick out my fourth class in May.

My wife just finished her first class of Spanish 101 and today will start 201 which is a college level Spanish Class. She sure is getting a lot for her yearly $12 international club dues. I still have not broken even on the garden club dues when I include all the soil prep and raised wall enforcement but when you include the all expense paid seat time I'm ahead.

Went to southeast Virginia for some gobbler hunting yesterday. They never made a sound. After getting home and checking my trail cam pix, I think I know why...12 days of coyote pix out of 27 days since the SD card was changed. I had one set of pix with a coyote chasing deer, and another with one defecating for the camera. I found two fresh dens nearby.

Today’s high may have occurred at midnight at 54º; mixed clouds and sun and 50ºF presently. Hopefully today will be my last day of PT. Wng, my son and I heard coyotes about 30 minutes before dark. They sounded not too far off. We jumped in the car and went in that direction to take a look. Didn't see anything. Since we have chickens, I don't have any tolerance for them. They will tire a deer by chasing them....
