Good evening all. 48F to start the day, partly cloudy, calm wind. Had cold front come through, sky clouded up, wind picked up. Wind calmed back down and sky cleared on off, high temp was 65F. Mens meeting this morning, on of the guys is in the hospital with way low sodium levels. Did take down the oak tree today, sap was more up than I wanted but mistletoe was far worse than apparent on the ground. Trunk is sawed to length, working on branches now. Got nap and bike ride as well. No issues on dog walk.
Billy, sorry to hear about your mom, was down that road recently with the wife, hope the drs can tell you more than they told us:confused2:
Eric sorry to hear about your lanb:mad:
David sorry to hear about your tractor, nice to see you have a better place to work on it. Good luck with repair looks like screw #9 holds assembly in place.
Don sounds like yummy breakfast food to me.
Ted, get well soon!
prayers for all

Half the battle is getting it to a good place to work on it. Remember when dad had to fix his dozer over in the woods. That wasnt fun.

25 right now...high today in the mid-40's.

Looks like rain/snow coming in tonight and tomorrow...:(

31 and going to a high of 39 °F. Wind S 9 mph. Snow.
It is snowing out now. I don't think it will amount to much.

A town run is in the cards today, then home and conserve energy.

Have a good day all

Good morning. We are starting out the day at 11C/50F with a light covering of cloud. If the wind keeps down this will be two Jacket-less days in a row.

I managed to put most of the guttering up yesterday in amongst other things. At 170mm wide there is a lot of seal to compress at each joint before the plastic finally clicks into place, my fingers are still feeling it this morning.

Don, I wanted to claim the full 4 points, so I searched out hummus when we went shopping and found that it did indeed come in several flavors. This stuff is much better, tastes almost like food. Maybe I could get used to it after all.

Buppies, good luck this morning, hoping for positive news. Me too this afternoon.
It's been raining lightly all night, warm 55 out now.
Drinking my one cup of watered down coffee this morning, can't have much caffeine before testing.
I sure have been sleepier without my regular coffee but I guess I have to get used to it.

Hoping the dealer comes with my stabilizers today, LP finish mower sitting out in rain which bothers me. It normally stays on back of tractor in the barn, which meant I really had to clear things out in there to make enough room for larger tractor with FEL and mower on back. Takes up a lot of room...might have to leave bucket off. Have learned to put bucket away outside propped up on an angle, otherwise it fills up with rain water which isn't good.

Eric, I love the labeling on the package. Never saw the use of the term "energy" before. And reference to 1/4 of a pot is interesting too.

Poured first cup of coffee. 36° with fog this morning. Heading to 46° with cloudy skies. Spent some time in shop wire up new lights on trailer fenders yesterday. Will spend more time on them today. No other plans for the day.

Report on my aunt. She was diagnosed with a UTI and Pneumonia. Was moved to a rehab center last Saturday. Getting better every day. Eating and exercising daily. Hope she gets to go home in a week or 2. I want to visit but my cold and cough is still hanging on.

Drew & Buppies, hope your Dr. visits go good.

Eric, my wife has not brought any Hummus home yet. So I cannot give any reports. Will wait for you to taste a few more flavors.

Randy I am sure I have seen a yellow Cardinal when we stayed in South Texas. But I could not find a picture. Here is a picture of Green Jay. :D

Prayer and best wishes to all.

Good Morning All.

4 points awarded!

Are you ready to search for or make the 5 points? Look on the ingredients list and find (or make) the hummus without any added oils. Welcome to my world.

that explains the fat grams, which jumped out at me
Alternatives would be vinegar based?

I have not seen vinegar based. At one time I found a brand at HEB that did not have any olive oil added. Tahini, which is ground sesame seeds, is an ok and common ingredient in hummus because it uses the entire seed and does not just press the oils (fat) out.

Good morning! 45˚F heading to 76˚F. partly cloudy. Home depot did not have my irrigation drip hose so I had to go to the local professional irrigation supplier and get 100' of drip hose and connections and a timer. Now maybe today I can plant my garden. I got distracted by the golf cart place next to the irrigation place and wasted some time driving some 72V golf carts and some lithium golf carts. The 72V lead acid battery pack is WOW and a 70 mile range, but the battery exchange is $900.

Trails End and Ron, thanks for the bird pictures! I don’t fancy myself a bird watcher, but I do like to watch birds.

Buppies and Drew, hope those doctors visits are positive.

Rain and wind through tomorrow with gusts over 30. Ah, springtime on Delmarva.

Yup. Spring is here, heading up to the cottage tonight, where it will be ... snowing! Wait a minute, what about Spring?

The lake is supposed to be open around this time or a little bit later, but I guess we can forget about putting the boat in and the Spring Lake Trout fishing.

Oh, well, at least I don’t have it as bad as PILOON - he’s getting another huge wack of snow in Quebec. (We will get maybe an inch.). Hang in there, Bob!
