Randy, be careful with that shoulder, 9 months is a long time.

Pansies sure ain’t no pansies!
Planted these in November and been through at least 4-5 single digit nights, snow and ice. They never stopped blooming.

Good luck with the PT. Wroughtonharv is having good luck with his PT. Mine may have made it worse. Get a second opinion.

Buppies- Good luck with the PT. Is there anything one can do with partially torn biceps; especially old tears?

Knowing what I know now I would take being called a pansy a compliment. :D

41 this morning and headed to 49 today. Which is current temperature.

Sitting at pharmacy waiting on a medicine. Went to doctor for a checkup. Mentioned that I was having some problems with my wrist. Mainly fingers cramping and tingling in hand. Told him I had tried sleeping in brace with no results. He said I could try an anti inflammatory medicine or he could send me for a nerve test and then talk about surgery. I will try the medicine.

Now to get motivated to get something productive done when I get home. Skipped breakfast because I anticipated labs. That happened. Now my whole day will be off and I’ll end up overeating later.

Farmer, I'm guzzling down a nice cup of coffee after having almost none today due to tests...
well......the good news is I'll live. The bad news is likely permanent hearing damage due to Meniere's disease and no cure. I have 80 percent hearing loss in left ear, hope some of that returns. Diuretics, antihistamines, one of the B vitamins and something else OTC. If that doesn't work, then steroids. And now I have to be super careful about salt, will need to cook most of my food from scratch to avoid it. No more pizzas for me...
Under 2000mg a day, even reading labels that's hard to do sometimes the way salt and sugar are hiding in everything.

Buppies, sorry you are torn up, sounds like it hurts.

Nice pansies Toppop. I planted a bunch too recently, never knew they could overwinter.

65°F and no rain. Actually just started to.

Wife has hinted she’d like to go to Waimea for lunch at Chinese restaurant we like. Sounds like a good idea. Stop by PO on way by.
Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Is the PO going to lunch with you? Are you buying for him/her, too?:D

Heavy rain all day. Local creeks are flooding, river will get it tonight and tomorrow. Had an idiot tailgating me on way home just inches off my bumper in stop and go traffic. I did very gradual stops.

Picked up 10# of mission BBQ to take to dads 95th birthday party this weekend. Supposed to snow on the way tomorrow, and 40mph winds.

nothing like that around here. I looked through the pizza aisle, which is huge..., and found nothing low sodium. Even the fancier organic stuff has lots of sodium. Problem is I love cheese, and cheese has lots of salt.
I need to make some crusts from scratch, I have an extra freezer to store them, and then use healthy toppings.
Now, try finding low salt sausage, bacon, etc. just doesn't exist. But I can and do cook my own plain chicken breasts, ones that don't have that extra ten percent added of salt and who knows what, likely none of it healthy, so after cooking I have good raw material to cook with, including on a pizza. I like to cook so I guess this is something new to learn. Sure beats having this roaring noise in my ear...

Buckeye, so cool your Dad is 95 and enjoying life, not nodding in a facility. I bet you're a very good son to him.
Enjoy the birthday party and barbecue.

Nice pansies Toppop. I planted a bunch too recently, never knew they could overwinter

They are winter pansies, but they only claim to be hardy to 18-20ー.

1.19 “ of rain since midnight, a lot of downpours, gusty winds building around 40 mph.

We have thousands of "winter pansies" in Texas every year. They show up after Labor Day and we shoo them home in April.

Now ..... Ron, in his defense, was doing research on "Life in Texas" and ..... with his busy schedule .... found it most convenient to do his research between ..... Labor Day and April.

He completed his research and ....... we do miss him now.

Is the PO going to lunch with you? Are you buying for him/her, too?:D

Well, let’s see.
PO coughed up new property tax assessment +3%, but that’s only because of a regulatory limit. Mayor has said no rise to property taxes, guess he figures we arent smart enough that plus 3% at same rate is still an increase.
Also got Tundra registration renewal,
Plus invoice for my diesel, 518g @ $3.56.

So, enough for the PO.

Wife disappointed in that the Chinese restaurant was closed for renovations, but she found solace at DQ and I got a great local burger.

Good evening all. 48F for the start, partly cloudy, clam wind. Light wind today, partly cloudy, and high temp of 76F. Continued processing oak tree, had to drop off stepdaughter's golf cart at repair place, bike ride, and dog walk, and finish off with fish club meeting.
Ted hope you continue to recover from cold/sore throat, and tell that knee to get with the program!!.
I too enjoyed the bird pics,
Don, replace 6 6volt batteries was about $700, the Trojans that were in it were 7 yr old when we traded it in. Stepdaughter may need to spring for new batteries(48V), will update you on cost.
Drew. you might want to ask your dr about too low sodium levels, it is really bad when it happens.
Farmer good luck with your nerve damage. Surgery dosn't always work.
prayers for all

Jay the Green Jay was for you.
We had a kettle type AF. Gave it to our son. We got a Cuisinart TOA-60 AF toaster oven. Took a little while to get used to the timers and temperature controls. But is large enough for what wife wants to cook. Best prices are at Costco and Bed & Bath.
There is also a AF made by Breville. It is expensive and has problem with the AF operation in some reviews.

Our AF is the Power Air Fryer XL. We use it for something almost every day, sometimes multiple times per day.

I really like the newer Power Air Fryer Oven with built in rotisserie.

Maybe a great sale soon.
