30 now. 45 or so later. Supposed to be a bit nicer each day thru the weekend. Little bit of rain but no washouts.

Got the Champion race bike frame in the truck, goes for paint today. Found an irritating oil leak on another bike by accident. So last evening was productive.

Now it is time to get the head into work mode.....

Have a safe and good day.

Need to pour a cup of coffee. 19° with a bright moon this morning. Heading to 46 with partly cloudy skies. Finally trailer fender to fit. Going to work on getting lights wired today. Started trimming trees around feeders. Hope to get that finished today. Dr appointment in afternoon.

Eric, that sparrow is a English Sparrow. What could it possibly be shocked about. Cute Lamb.

Don, trail looks good.

Jay, hope your PT goes well. While it has taken me awhile to get painless use of my arm. I am ready for Spring.

LS, hope you get knee working properly soon.

Drew, hopefully you get things straightened out on tractor hitch.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! 47 ˚F heading to the 70s. Need to meet the trail crew with my pickup to haul the last load of mulch to the end of the trail this morning. The trail ends at Berry creek. The CA owns the property on the other side of the creek and there is an old trail there that we plan to connect to. The summer project will be the bridge. This will have to be a very substantial bridge because from the looks of the debris the water level can go up 10' and the width of the creek is about 50'. The developer will play an important role in the construction.

Ron the camera must have a fast shutter speed to catch the bird in that pose. I looks like he was trying to find out where the bird seed is located on the camera.

It was strangle then to be outside and hear what sounded like leaves rustling in the wind, where could it be coming from ... ?

... from the last of the lambs then went out wearing plastic jackets.

That lamb looks very pleased with the fit of its very stylish jacket, Eric. Are you the taylor?

Picture is a screenshot from a Ring camera video. I was surprised by how well camera focused. It normally is taking video's 50' out. Sparrow was about 3' out from camera.

Very nice! Just curious, Don: Do people ride mountain bikes on your trails?

Even though the developer's web site talks about the bike and hike trails, bikes are not allowed on the trails. The only place bicycles can drive is on the street. The bike club meets every Saturday for their road trips. They have 4 groups for different levels of distance and speed. Some go out 50 miles and others 10 miles in the neighborhood. The City of Georgetown has an excellent hike and bike trail that goes from town along the river to the lake - about 14 miles round trip.

Good Morning!!!! 61F @ 4:45AM. Partly cloudy this morning, then becoming cloudy during the afternoon. High 72F. Winds light and variable.

Beautiful day to be outside yesterday, with sunshine and just enough breeze to fan the brush pile fire. And there were lots of slashings to keep it fed; got four trees ready for bucking just as the gas ran out of both saws. Rain comes in tonight and will be on-and-off for the next several days. I could use the break to catch up on some inside work, and my back will be happy for the R&R.

47°F here this morning. Our forecast is for 70°F his afternoon and partly sunny.

Spent most of yesterday playing "pick up sticks" in the horse pasture.

Picked up about 10 Ranger loads. Dump bed is very handy for this.

More of the same today, then some mowing.

Everyone enjoy the "last day of winter" today. Tomorrow is the spring equinox.

Prayers to all.

It's was 13° for the low this morning. We had some high thin cloudy yesterday but it was still in the mid 30's. It's going to be sunny with a light breezes and in the high 30's for today.

I did get sometime with the welder yesterday and went for a ride in the side by side. I might to that again today.

I like the picture of the last few days. Keep up the good work.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Good morning to all! Low of 38, going up to 60 today, partly cloudy. Slight chance of a sprinkle this afternoon, greater chances Wednesday night / Thursday.

Going to do a couple errands this morning, then this afternoon maybe some tractor seat time. Going to try to clean out all the blown-in silt in the drive's drainage ditch. Hopefully it's dry enough...guess I'll find out.

Woke up both yesterday and today with a stuffy nose and sore throat....something is putting out a bunch of pollen..... I hope.

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent to all!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

18ºF was today’s low; 33ºF presently, high temperature ~40ºF anticipated. Another beautiful NE day. The next pending weather event Thursday/Friday may be “interesting.” Models all agree on the precipitation, but offer different solutions as to phasing and coastal redevelopment , track, and rain/snow line. We’ll see.

Wifey went shopping yesterday. Taking advantage of my newfound freedom I did manage to get to the woodpile, check out the driveway, and retrieve some firewood w/o becoming stupid. I can single crutch gimp&carry more firewood in one trip than Wifey can in 2. Mr. Knee did complain resulting in medicinal strength solutions at “Happy Hour” last night.

Kyle- I believe the standard PT training manual was written by the Grand Inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition with few revisions other than retranslating the Latin to English. I believe that already know the PTist from previous misadventures.

Eric- That is one happy lamb. Thanks for sharing

RonJH- You tolerated your arm’s limited ROM and chronic pain for a long time. I am happy to read that finally you now have a functional and pain free arm again. I suspect that come Monday I’ll be feeling a complaining Mr. Knee.

Ted- I hope you shake this cold/allergy?. Around here mold is starting to make its presence known. Brogen suffers from some allergy; his eyes are starting to water again. I saw in the news yesterday that the CT River Valley is one of the worst allergy areas in the USA. Luckily the surrounding hill towns are “above’ the Valley air.

Spring is definitely in the air.

I appreciate all the + thoughts, prayers, and wishes.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

63°F and .02 inches rain.

Didn’t get any raking done yesterday so that’s top of the list today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Congrats on mower, Drew. i suspect new owners will be very happy.

I’ll be happy to see spring arrive, unlike Wngsprd, I don’t need another snow. Here on the Eastern Shore, spring is a little cooler than other areas due to the surrounding waters, we have our spring weather in the fall. Still beats winter.

Started at 25 this morning, 50 now with a cool breeze, just enough to require a jacket. More heavy rain Thursday.

Good days and blessings to all.

Happy dog!

I have a mugga pine for that yellow pot, as soon as I find the rack that goes in it. I put it away in November and cannot find it now.

I need a cold day to clean out my old woodpile, has rotted since the roof blew off several years ago. Cold day because i hate snakes, and it is prime territory. Might just push the forks in and see if i can pull some out where i can see.

I built a lean to behind my shed years ago, used to park my first kubota under it, before i built my barn. Its now full of junk, old pallets, buckets of leftover masonary sand, pieces of an old aboveground pool someone gave me, some old double hung windows someone gave me that i was going to use for the barn but didnt.
