Good morning!!!!

guy just left with my Kubota F mower after handing me a big pile of 100 dollar bills. Hotfooted them down to bank. Very nice father/son
combo, son runs landscaping business and both were very mechanical. They saw how clean I had it, ran it for all of three minutes, never even turned on blades, and said it was fine and didn't try to dicker. Thank you very much, my price he knew was very fair. They know more than I do about mowers... Of course I did see his trailer tires were low and since he was pulling a one ton trailer with more than a ton on it, I brought my air tank up and pumped up his tires. Not a trailer they use a lot but surprised they drove it like that, 35 pounds in 55 pound tires. Last thing I wanted for them was to blow a tire and flip the mower on the way home.

got promising news from dealer: I just went out and looked at a 4708 I have on the yard and they are pin adjustable and I moved them in to about 26 which is cat 1. He's going to try to take the stabilizers off the 4708 and put them on mine, would fix everything. I sent these pics to him. I guess buying the least expensive version didn't get me the nice stabilizers... would be nice to have an easy fix. Btw, there aren't any more holes under that cover, just the one at the end, all the adjustment is in the threading.
Both ends should screw. Make sure the back end of that sway isnt screwed in tight preventing it from turning.

Yup! Hope the dealer does the right thing and swaps them out for you or .... at the very least a huge discount on them.

Get online with some of the big MF Dealers that have a large online presence and see what the going price for the OEM telescoping stabilizers to keep your Dealer honest.

You should be good to go Drew.

Good thought. Take them off the tractor and lube the threads well.

I'd still rather have the good stabilizers though instead of screwing them in and out.

Even my LS XR4155HC has telescoping stabilizers. My previous XR4046HC had them as well. So does my New Holland TC100A.

Good evening all. 37F for the start, clear, calm wind. Wind was moderate, sky stayed mostly clear, and high temp was 70F. Choir practice started the day, 1 1/2 hours of mowing, got the weeds in the front yard, and 25 mile bike ride today. but no nap :confused2:
Drew, hope new stabilizers fixes your hook up problem. Congrats on selling your mower with minimal fuss :drink:
Ron cool pic of sparrow, makes it look big
Ted, Sorrow to hear about the lack of progress on your knee.
Jay, good luck starting your PT on the knee.
Don trails are looking nice.
Kyle please wish your youngest a belated Happy Birthday.
Prayers for all.

Ron, cool sparrow pic. Looks almost like a hawk with wide angle.

Jay PT = physical torture..... hope you have a pretty torturist. I'm not a fan of PT. Hope yours goes well.

Trail pics today. Last push to finish. Mulch, gravel and rocks mined from our common areas.View attachment 596513View attachment 596514

And I found a good dew berry patch by the house.View attachment 596515

Trail looking good. Sorry, but my freshly planted garden needs some natural rain. :)

Nice dewberry patch. I've been scouting, but my motherlode patch I picked last year looks lame this year. :( But I have my eye on a patch on the way home. Not convenient though. I should ride my thumper up and down the railroad tracks they just refurbished.

10 °F and going to a high of 34. Wind SSE 9 mph. Mainly sunny.

I found a source for the new batteries (2) for the boat. Group 34 PC1500 AGM batteries direct from the manufacturer, $795.66 tax in. I can pick them up when I go 'south' for my pre startup meetings.the place is only about 20 miles from where the meetings are. That sure beats over $500.oo ea delivered up here + tax.

I got a town/dump run for today and I will mosey down to Sundridge and and check out battery chargers and also take a look to see if the Fire Marshal is sniffing around the parts store fire from last Thursday. I am very interested in what his report says.

Have a good day all

As I sit down for a mug of tea, I see through the window a neighbour's tree with branches that are for once perfectly still. Even the scattering of last year's desiccated leaves are clinging on with not a breath of wind to disturb them. It was strangle then to be outside and hear what sounded like leaves rustling in the wind, where could it be coming from ... ?

... from the last of the lambs then went out wearing plastic jackets.

Ron, that sparrow looked to have had a bad shock - try putting some clothes on before opening the curtains today

27 going to 55 and sun. Things finally drying out some.

Cut a small load of firewood yesterday...mostly junk stuff, but cut and split and stacked anyway.

Don, trails look almost too good.

I don't know anything about decaf except, for me, the flavor is not there.

I think today is the last day of winter. I need just one more snow.

Gotta get rolling. Have a great day.
