Good evening all,. 32F for the start, with slight cooling off before temps started to recover. Windy and overcast with .7 inch in the rain gauge. Sky cleared off, wind backed off a bit, and temp recovered to 36F. Today was a stoke the stove day, worked on wife's sewing machine, still a bit left to do. Rest of day was conserve energy and walk the dog.

30 and going to a high of 16°F. Wind WSW 21 gusting to 31 mph. 30% chance of flurries.
A little freezing rain overnight. Maybe 1/10".

I have been scouring the internet most of yesterday looking for 19" rims for the Dodge that I like the look of and don't cost me $500.oo each AND will look good on the Dodge, so far no joy. I am going out to my tire dealer today and see what he has available.

That is about all have going on today.

34 right now heading to 40ish. Slight rain heading to partly sunny. High wind gust expected later today. Off to work. Nothing special going on. Prayers for all.

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 19° with snow and wind this morning. Heading to 16° with continued wind. Wind is out of the west at 30+ mph with higher gust. Temperature made it to 51° at 9pm yesterday evening. By midnight it was 25°. After PT it will be a good day to get started on taxes. Ortho Dr visit went OK. No more visits unless problems with arm. Got into cellar yesterday afternoon warm up. Water softener was out of salt. Put 3 bags in it. Felt good to not have pain when lifting the bags.

Drew, glad you are getting some help.

61 going up to 75 in clouds today, cooler packed with water bottles for volunteers.
Nice note last night from food pantry about a local community in this area, closer to the shore, which is, in this area, out in the middle
of nowhere, a community without any grocery store of any kind for 15 miles and no supermarket for further than that.
And they appear quite interested in my cabbage and collards:
When we talked to the group down there about how we can help them.
The opportunity to get fresh produce made them almost giddy

When you get giddy over a head of cabbage...

Every day is an opportunity for kindness.

I sprayed some patches of clover down by the shop, Tuesday afternoon, with some selective herbicide that was 3 years old. Didn't have high expectations, due to age, but was pleasantly surprised to find wilting clover yesterday morning, about 15 hours after treatment.

If I sprayed my clover and weeds, about all I'd have left is dirt.
