10°F and going to a high of 32°F. Wind ENE 18 mph. Periods of snow or freezing drizzle in the forecast.
If I have a choice would rather have the snow.

R.I.P. to all those that have gone to a better place.

Yesterday while I was plowing I threw a chain off the drives. I finished the job, more or less. It took the two of us to 'Northern Ontario engineer' it back on and kinda sorta fix it. I don't have chain tools, nor do I have a set of torches or welder so screw clevises saved the day, for now. A new set of chains will be here probably by Wednesday. I only need one, but they come in pairs, so I guess I will have a spare chain.

I tried making a video with my phone, but it was too shaky, even in the mount. Shaky to the point where anyone watching it would get sick, so the kibosh was put on that effort.

I may go out and try to scrape some more snow off the driveway. I really should go and shelf the banks.

Sorry for everyone’s loss. Looks like the temperature will be close to 40 today. Time to break out the pressure washer and turn my truck from white back to blue. Salt must be 1/4 inch thick on there. We have 3 or 4 days of warm weather coming. Might even hose off the tractor if I can find the time. Need to get fuel for the tractor and kerosene for the garage bullet heater. Stay warm and safe all.

Today is the big day. I guess I'll pull for the old rich guy with the hot wife, and chomp some jalapeno poppers.

Cut some logs and split some firewood yesterday afternoon. I can't believe how different a new saw feels and cuts.

Don, that trail looks nice, but I agree it looks like snow or ice.

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 35ｰ with fog this morning. Heading to 47ｰ with clouds and drizzle in afternoon. Got some seat time yesterday. Pushing snow back so what does not melt by tomorrow. Is not in the way of clearing snow with forecasted weather later this week. No problems with frozen water line. But put it on list of things to improve this spring or fall. No football here today. But it's a sign that NASCAR will be back next week. :thumbsup:

Randy and Buckeye sorry for your friends passing. Prayers. May they RIP.

34 going to 57 today in rain, starting around noon and continuing most of day.
Actually hope it isn't much, just delays working the fields which I have planned for early this week. No freezing temps still
in 10 day forecast.
Buckeye and Toppop, prayers for your friends, sorry for loss.

had to wear soft collar and heating pad most of night, neck really bothering me.
I think it's the down on my knees position, lot more of that to come.

18 right now...high in the low to mid-30's.
I think I'm going to see if I can get more snow and ice off the drive today. It's going to warm up considerably over the next couple days then steadily drop back to the teens by next weekend....d

About two and a half feet more or less.

28 outside this AM. Heading to upper 50`s. Nice day with the girls yesterday. Visited a raptor rescue friend giving a seminar on winter wildlife. She is the person we took a hawk to a few months back that had been hit by a car in front of my house.
Not much on the agenda today. An electrician is supposed to show for an estimate to get power to the run in. I gave up on solar. I have a panel with space not more than 400 feet away. So maybe I can tie into that or run another line and add another panel at the run in. Seem like overkill for another panel down there.
