I wonder how farmer is doing trying to heat his chickens in these low temps.
He must be hearing the sounds of his profits get sucked away by the propane man.
At least so far, at least here, it's been a warm winter. My electric bill for Jan was way under prior year.

Multiple calls to City of Washington got me in touch with their IT person, and yes sir you do need two separate accounts for your two meters,
and you need to set up a separate account. What? Ok. And if I do I can then link them and have them show up on the same page.
Well, what do you know, would have been nice to know that in the first place. Now I'm paid up and the lights will stay on.
They would have stayed on anyway with my gen running. :thumbsup:
I have found the City employees involved in utilities customer service to be excellent here.
And all the city utility trucks are nicely maintained.
Someone is running a tight ship.

I finally had to start doing that too...I think Jay is the best at this.
By the time I've gone three pages, I'm lost. So many interesting things going on.
I never knew PJ was locked and loaded. Well someone has to work down there, right?
I remember working in downtown Trenton NJ, right near the center of town, and had to escort the female
employees to their cars because of personal violence and crime in the area. Very thankful when we moved out of town.
I could look out my window and see prostitutes working the street and guys meeting for drug buys.
Sure had never seen that before, except on tv...

In all my sci fi literature they always have a stun position on their guns. Wish ours were selectable like that.
I'd like guns more that way...I'd stun someone if need be for sure, am a fair shot actually,
not exactly a peaceful solution but rabid animals and rabid people
don't want peace. They want to bite you.
And the strong must always protect the weak or we are back in the caves again.
I'd like to think today's highly educated youth will bring us into a new era of enlightenment and peace.

what is really sad is not only the lack of valuing human life but the
stupidity in ignoring ballistics when **** is flying in confined urban areas.
Someone, and sadly it seems like little kids a lot of time, is going to get hit.
Police are trained on this, bad guys don't care.
Keep your finger down on the trigger, be a man. Some man shooting up kids in their bedrooms.

Really is sad about officers shot in Houston. Serving warrants is like sticking your head down the barrel of the bad guys,
you just don't know what lunacy is on the other side of the door. The bad guys have really good guns
too now.

Getting a CCW in Maryland is virtually impossible even though it is technically legal. You have to prove need, and no reason is good enough. If the local sheriff were not a friend, I could never have gotten one.

Drew, my son and daughter in law are about as well educated as they come, both have Virginia carry permits and an Arsenal. Between the bad folks and bears they feel better enabled.

I need to look into it. Our sheriff is a good guy.

Up to 3" snow. Trees are all covered. I came home at the right time.

PJ that’s really bad sorry people have to endure that. I do not know how I would react in a situation of defending myself so I just don’t carry. I do know how I reacted when someone insulted my mother and wife and threatened them the result was not pretty for them and I was lucky lots of witnesses. I’m much older and hopefully wiser to 31 and falling here

That was one of the scenarios covered in that class I took, Buppies. Deescalate, walk away, keep a level head and remain aware of what's going on around you. The ******* is an absolute last resort. That mindset is why training is required; most folks just never think about going through life like that. If more did, there would be a lot less trouble in the world.
